If you’re looking for a place that actually delivers on quality, flavor, and experience, KPOT in Englewood is it. This isn’t just another all-you-can-eat spot—it’s a full, well-executed Korean BBQ and hot pot experience done right. First, the food quality is outstanding. The meats come out fresh, well-cut, and vibrant, especially the thin-sliced beef which cooks perfectly in seconds. Nothing looks frozen, dull, or rushed. The hot pot broth is rich and flavorful, not watered down, and pairs perfectly with noodles, seafood, and vegetables. Everything—from bok choy and bean sprouts to seafood like octopus—tastes clean and intentional. What really sets this place apart is the interactive experience. Cooking at the table is smooth and efficient, the equipment works properly (which matters more than people think), and nothing feels chaotic or disorganized. You’re not waiting forever for refills or chasing staff down—service is attentive, fast, and professional. The atmosphere is fun but polished. Modern decor, great lighting, and even small touches like the claw machine near the entrance make it feel lively without being overwhelming. It’s perfect for dates, groups, or even just treating yourself to a serious meal. Value-wise? Completely worth it. You get premium ingredients, variety, and an experience that justifies the price. This is the kind of place you leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. Bottom line: KPOT Englewood sets the standard for Korean BBQ and hot pot in North Jersey. If you’re debating where to go—stop debating and come here. Highly recommended. 🔥🥩🍲

We picked KPOT last minute for dinner and it turned out to be such an amazing experience! The staff were super welcoming and accommodating, and the whole vibe was fun. The food was delicious and the price point was great, only about $32 per person, and kids under 10 were even less. You can choose between BBQ or hot pot, and the portions are generous. The drinks were tasty, well-priced, and affordable too. I can’t remember my server’s name, but he was awesome — so patient (especially with our big group!) and really made the night special . He even got the staff to sing happy birthday, which was such a nice touch. Overall, highly recommend KPOT for a date night or a fun family outing. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The front staff was great and quickly accommodated our party of 9, which we really appreciated. The food was good overall, and the runners were very helpful. However, the service at our table could have been better. Our waitress didn’t turn on the grill, didn’t take our drink orders until we asked (about 30 minutes into the 120-minute limit), and didn’t explain that the side dishes were self-serve. We don’t mind serving ourselves, we just would have appreciated being told at the beginning. One of the grills also wasn’t working. We understand the automatic gratuity for large parties (about $100), but given the level of service, we felt it could have been more attentive. Overall, good food, but clearer communication would have made a big difference

Got seated as soon as our party was together. Instruction was how to order was clear. Food was fresh and plentiful. Our server was courteous and pleasant

I really wanted to like this Korean BBQ spot, but my visit two weeks ago on Tuesday was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The moment I walked in, I was "greeted" by two male workers who I can only assume were the managers, judging by how they were dressed and how they were directing the staff. One of them was blatantly rude—he barely looked at me, spoke in a short, irritated tone, and acted like answering a simple question was a burden. The other manager wasn’t openly rude, but he wasn’t any better. He just stood there silently, avoiding eye contact and looking completely uninterested in helping or welcoming customers. The combination of one being openly disrespectful and the other completely disengaged made the greeting feel incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. What made it worse is that the actual servers were far more professional and kind. They tried their best to make up for the poor first impression—checking on me more often, explaining the menu, and actually showing some effort—while those two managers stood up front with their arms crossed, whispering to each other and giving off an unfriendly, unapproachable vibe. When your servers show more hospitality and leadership than management, that’s a serious issue. As for the food… I wish I could say it improved the experience, but it didn’t. The marinated wasn’t seasoned well (They tasted very off, had to spit out a lot into my napkin), the cuts were inconsistent, and nothing tasted fresh. Even the side dishes were underwhelming and looked like they’d been sitting out for a while. For a Korean BBQ place—where flavor and freshness should shine—everything fell flat. Then things got even worse. While eating, I actually saw a rat run along the wall near the back of the dining area. A full rat. I quietly informed one of the servers, who looked absolutely mortified, but neither manager came over to apologize, check on the situation, or acknowledge it at all. They continued standing at the front just as disengaged as before. Between the rude afternoon management, the disappointing food, and seeing a literal rat in the restaurant, this place was a complete disappointment from start to finish. I won’t be returning, and I genuinely hope they address these issues—especially their leadership and sanitation—before more customers have experiences like this.

Went there for the first time yesterday with 2 of my friends. was very satisfied with the service, food, and professionalism of the workers. Our server Eric was the best and checked up on us often. The hostess was gorgeous and very kind, taking a photo of us when we asked 🙏 W restaurant def going back

What truly makes a business is the people who serve. Special thanks to Santiago for his excellent service. He was well informed, attentive, and even managed to make an upsell. As a salesman myself, I appreciated that. Also a big shoutout to the person who brought the food for being kind and efficient. The atmosphere on Sundays is calm with nice music in the background, making it the perfect place to relax.
