My husband and I stopped here again this past New Year's Day (as we did 2 years ago!) and were once again so satisfied and happy with our experience. We had the same waitress as 2 years ago and she was perfect - attentive but not overbearing; friendly; and quick! She was also helpful when I had questions regarding substitutions for a menu item. The eggs Benedict were almost perfectly cooked, with a delicious hollandaise and the shaved ham was on point!!!! My husband got the breakfast burrito and stuffed himself - it was so good! I love that my coffee came in its own little carafe, and they brought a separate little pot of almond milk for me. Its easily our favorite breakfast stop! The place is clean and refreshing, always inviting. A must stop if you are ever in the area and need fresh breakfasts!
10:29 was sat at the bar & ordered coffee. 11:05 came back with coffee and took order. I don’t get into what could be taking so long. Looks like they are all worried about their side work and getting off the clock maybe? I counted 6 wait staff and only 3 tables, plus me at the bar. Lots of stocking, and walking in and out of the back with cups, lids, etc. Just left sitting for another 26 minutes, What’s the deal? Had they been busy, I would absolutely understand. But come on, this management team needs to get this place in functional order. University is great, Junction city is great. This one is 1.2 stars max. Hope they can fix it, it’s Saturday and dead.
I go for the unique menu. They had someone call off and was trying their best. The food didn't seem as good as it used to and they forgot something. I get it when you are busy. Friendly service. Easy to park when not busy. We didn't have a wait Friday morning.
1/19/2026....Me and my partner had breakfast he had pancakes and I opted out for the waffle. Between us both we love eggs and we never leave anything on the plate. Although for some reason these eggs tasted watery no flavor at all and felt like they were liquid eggs instead of fresh cracked eggs. The waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food needs to be kept a little hotter so that the butter can melt on the pancakes and waffles. Nice experience but we won't be back.
Me and the wife stopped in this place for some breakfast. I ordered full order of biscuits and gravy (7) with a side order of links (10). They serve their biscuits whole so you get 3 biscuits and they're made with cheddar cheese which was unique. However the biscuits were dry, had a cornbread texture. I still finished my plate. They had a taste of their own which I'm not complaining they were good just a bit dry. Sausage links were Great! My wife had the bike rider's breakfast (6). Eggs, hash browns, bacon and Blueberry pancakes. The only complaint was the pancakes were not done in the center. The vibe in the restaurant was great very trendy, very clean And our waitress was a 10 for sure. Our total bill was $36.45. Thank you childers eatery for feeding us.
We went here for Mothers Day brunch and the wait was 45 mins. We finally got in, placed our order and again waited. My cappuccino was cold upon delivery and my eggs Benedict was served with literal 2 hard boiled eggs on top of English muffins covered in sauce.
So many great options, especially for those who love flavorful food but have dietary restrictions (gluten-free, etc.). There a lot of menu choices that include unique and healthy ingredients. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Love this place!
