Green & Tonic

Clean, well kept restaurant. Food is fresh too. Parking can be found behind the brick building most of the time (don’t try the struggle of parallel parking near entrance). Excellent vegan options, even down to the desserts.

As a regular customer of Green & Tonic, I was very disappointed with my experience today. We ordered for pick-up, and the Matcha we received was mostly milk with barely any Matcha flavor. This came after an earlier issue where we had to return an iced coffee that had no ice and was also almost all milk. Our avocado toast was so heavily coated in everything-bagel seasoning that it was practically inedible. When we got back to the car, we realized that only one of the two chicken finger orders we paid for had been included. To top it off, the staff was unfriendly.

What’s in the area for a doctor‘s appointment I decided to stop here and pick up a few things to go. All of it was delicious. When I got back to Middletown I realized that one of the items was expired and when I called them They immediately reimbursed me! I would definitely go back!

I am a huge fan of the Acai bowl and I have gone to other locations before. Spent 15 dollars on this mini little bowl only to find out that its literally ICE. I could not eat this. I waited for it to melt and it ended up tasting like Water. The worst ACAI bowl I have ever purchased. This particular location was almost empty with 2 customers so it was not the fact of rushing or busy time of the day. Just a sad experience 🙁

Excellent salads and wraps. Great smoothie options. Service is quick and staff are friendly. Very expensive but worth the price. Helpful to know that there is parking BEHIND the store.

Good juice places are hard to find this one is literally a little hard to find is tucked around this plaza in downtown Darien. I had the green detox juice, which they cold press into a bottle and it was really good, you can taste the freshness, like you should. I had banana bread that was amazing. One of the best of all time and a chia pudding that was really good. This was my first impression. The place was clean and smelled great soonest you entered the door. The staff was friendly and helpful and i can't wait to go back to try their smoothies. Definitely recommend.

The menu at Green and Tonic is awesome - nowhere else I’ve been in the area have I found a cacao drink with functional mushrooms and it tastes great. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering it is located in fancy pants Darien. A latte at Dunkin (a much lower quality drink) would literally cost me more than the mushroom cacao at G&T. Their smoothie menu looks fantastic. I wish I had gotten the name of the young woman who was working yesterday (6/4) afternoon because she was super sweet.
