First time with my family. Vibrant entrance, great for photo ops. We were greeted immediately and seated. Restrooms very clean. Our waiter (dont remember his name, but he had the table in the back near the bathroom) he had great customer service, very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The bar had everything from seasonings, sauces, toppings, sauces, fruit, dessert, and appetizers which their Chicken Wings, Orange Cake, and yes even Jello were delicious from the bar. The main course which was the Hot Pot and BBQ Meats and Vegetables were all fresh and delicious. Portions were good. We were a family of 4 with two big guys and it was enough with one serving of each meat we chose. The white rice was even delicious and cooked properly. Cherry Lemonade, Bubble and Boba was also delicious. The Housemade Yum Yum Sauce was delicious and some of the best I've had. (I need a bottle) Will definitely return!
Great experience! The food was really good with the exception of the fake crab meat and fake lobster rolls. Oh, and it would be a great idea if you could choose to have a cook assigned to you for an additional fee. Warning don’t go if you go out to dinner just so you don’t have to cook.
My husband and I tried KPOT for the first time yesterday. We let the server know it was our first time eating there and she briefly explained how it worked. She didn't let us know the grill was already on so when we got done with our hot pots and ordered our food for the grill my husband had to ask someone else what to do. Our server took over 10 minutes to finally bring our drinks out, never once asked if we needed a refill. We saw our server 4 whole times while we were there for the two hours. The other workers were more helpful. The food was good though and I recommend it to anyone who's interested. We will definitely go back but maybe not this location.
Went for dinner, it was an awful experience. Paid for both bbq and hot pot for 3 people, ended up leaving bored instead of satiated. The staff bringing out the raw food couldn't seem to identify what each item was or what table they went to. The kitchen ended up not serving us nearly half our orders placed, maybe they went to other people. It was 15 to 20 minutes between receiving each raw food portion after placing the electronic orders and the more portions you ordered the less you got. Our waitress was delightful, energetic, and as helpful as she could be but felt very over worked. I only saw 2 girls helping the whole building. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was great besides the angry looking manager behind the bar. Fella looked permanently livid. I would be too if my kitchen was running like that. The hot pot broths were all delicious and would recommend, the Korean bbq however is lacking. The cooking surface is a metal plate instead of a grill, the temperatures are lacking or too much and everything burns and sticks.
We were so excited when this location opened & have been coming here since, before we would have to drive all the way to Bethel it. Our family would come AT LEAST once a month, but lately my husband & I have been coming more frequently due to us having to leave work late & this is the only place we can both agree on. Every single time has been nice, food is always on point & service was always good. However when we are lucky & get Zulie, our service has always been EXCEPTIONAL! She is so wonderful, always SUPER FRIENDLY & always so attentive no matter how busy they are. One time they were updating their IPad so they had to manually take our order, Zulie never missed a beat. Our drinks were always refilled, she was on top of the grill changes & always made sure we had enough meat. I highly recommend asking for her if she’s working! We had a bit of a "one off situation" today with one of the server (first time having her), my husband & I were both pretty annoyed & upset but Jordan did such a wonderful job in making us feel better about the situation. He listened, made us feel appreciated as customers & went above & beyond to make it up for us. If you’re reading this, thank you so much Jordan! You definitely reminded us why we enjoy going there so much! Bottom line, great food, friendly staff. *ASK FOR ZULIE!* 😉 Wonderful management (Jordan), so voice your concerns because they do really care about their customers! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL GO TO FOR KBBQ & HOT POT, I literally cannot stop raving about this place!
My wife and I were hoping for a nice lunch here. We’ve been to several other locations and they’ve all been great but this one…this one was rough. Their buffet bar was out of pretty much everything and was also missing staple products from other locations. The service was incredibly slow. It took our waitress about 15 minutes to bring us water and a different waitress (our original waitress had gone on break) about 20 minutes to bring us the check. It was great to see that this location had the tablet at the table to order more food but, unlike any other location, they throttled orders. You could only order a couple items at a time and there was a 5-10 minute cool down between orders depending on how long you were there. We had heard rumors that they took uneaten food from people’s trays/broth after they left and served it to other guests. While we didn’t see it happen, it would be very unsurprising it the rumors were true based upon everything else. If you want a great KPOT experience, the location on Bethel Road is great with the location in Canton being the best we’ve been to by far.
I took my wife and kid for dinner here. It was a very pleasant experience! One thing we would like to highlight is Mariana’s excellent service! I think she’s among the top 5 waiters/waitresses I have experienced in 2025. I think what she did just set the bar for the service at KPOT! Also just want to let her know that we believe she can be very successful and we hope she stick to what she believes is superb and never give up for any reason. She delivers the best and she deserves the best.
