The vibes of this place are immaculate and I love that there is plenty of spots to study or cozy up in. However, the coffee is absolutely horrendous. I wish I had not wasted my money twice on the coffee since it is simply not good. The actual espresso has a weird taste to it and the coffee I make at home honestly tastes better. The food looks delicious but don’t waste money on the coffee.

Holy cow is this place amazing. Comfy chairs, amazing coffee and a vibe that could relax anyone. I had the Milky Way iced latte and it was delicious. I have my eye on the Apple fritters. Can’t wait to come back.

I will be honest the overall atmosphere of sweet Eugene’s is what keeps me coming back, the down lighting good music and typical coffee smell are just so inviting and different from anywhere else in town, but…. The actual food and drinks are somewhat mid. They have the best ham and cheese kolache in town for sure but the donuts are usually cakey and taste like day old grease. The matcha is definitely a matcha latte powder and is pretty sweet but would be enjoyable for a beginner matcha drinker, same with their chai. Their London fog would be better if their baristas were more consistent every one I’ve had has been different. The milk in the hot drinks are often burned but the espresso is always good. The baristas never seem too interested in taking my order but it’s usually very busy so I don’t pay much attention to that as they are always very fast. I do visit often and will continue to do so though some consistency would be nice!

I used to love coming here for lunch but I can tell that the service is not the same. The food is good it's always been good. I did get a Iced Green Tea they didn't let the tea steep enough and it was very watered down. When they brought me my food they didn't bring me my drink I had to wait at the counter while somebody was on their personal phone to ask where my drink was. It was sitting at the counter the entire time. As I was walking out the door and I wanted to throw my plastic cup away there was no room to do that because the trash was filled completely to the top. Again the food is amazing but the service can use a little work.

This "House of Java" is a cozy local establishment with "Central Perk" vibes, freshly baked goods, and a few sandwiches and crepes made to order. This local college hangout is great for getting some work done with an eclectic atmosphere, some comfortable chairs and sofas, cheap’ish eats, and free wifi with purchase. Everything on the menu looked good, but I'll admit the Pumpkin Latte was terrible, so maybe that's bad luck, or people go for the price and the atmosphere and not the java? Beware the men's bathroom; it smells like a jock's strap, which is to say, bad enough to turn your stomach. Other than the smell, the bathroom was reasonably clean but shabby. The staff was friendly, but the trash overflowed the cans for hours. If you're going to hang out with friends and co-workers or get some work done, this is a pretty cool spot. Regarding the Food and Java, YMMV.

I had an incredible time at this coffee shop, which offers so much more than just coffee. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its unique, eclectic, and vintage indoor vibe. It's a place that truly stands out and transports you to another era. The array of desserts, food, and coffee choices available is extensive, making it a definite must-visit spot in the area. Whether you're a coffee aficionado, a foodie, or have a sweet tooth, there's something for everyone. The diverse menu is a testament to the care and thoughtfulness put into creating a memorable experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I savored every sip of my coffee while soaking in the ambiance. If you're looking for more than just a coffee fix – an immersive atmosphere, delectable treats, and top-notch hospitality – this coffee shop is the perfect destination. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Coffee wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good. I have a diary allergy and I don't think they use the best oatmilk. I recommend Oatly's barista full fat oat milk. It seemed watery, which is why I assume it wasn'tfull fat. And with the first sip I had a coffee ground in my mouth. Weak pumpkin flavor, it mostly tasted like oatmilk. Also, I just don't think I was personally a fan of the roast they use for espresso. I had a hot oatmilk pumpkin latte. Super nice staff, the server who helped was very nice and made sure ingredients were dairy free. It wasn't too expensive, generally speaking. However, I felt like I wasted $7 because the coffee wasn't very enjoyable.
