Koa Mart

I visited this market for the first time today and was honestly so impressed. It’s a small place, but perfectly organized and packed with everything you’d look for in a Korean market. The cashier was super kind and even helped me choose a cold coffee — and wow, it was amazing. I think I’ve found my new favorite coffee; I don’t want any other now! The whole experience made me feel like I was in a convenience store in Seoul. Everything I tried exceeded my expectations, and there are so many fun Korean products to explore. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back.

So great to have an Asian/Korean grocery store near by. Koa has everything you need. They make the best kimchi! People who work here are friendly and are knowledgable of Asian products. No need to go South anymore. Great store!

Update: This Korean grocery store has turned into a mini supermarket. Lots of goodies and they sell hot Korean food. They also have few Filipino Ube ice cream. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. They are not a supermarket but they have the basics which I need. Staff super friendly.

Great selection for a small store - lots of goodies to try as well as staples for Korean cooking at home. We also enjoy the prepared food and kimchi. We always find a new fun drink or snack to try too! It’s super clean and organized and the staff are really friendly and happy to offer suggestions. If we lived just a little closer we’d be there weekly for sure.

My wife came across Koa Mart in Coconut Creek via social media, so we decided to take a drive and check it out. As someone from Hawaii, where Japanese culture has a significant influence, I was pleasantly surprised to find many of the cuisines I grew up with available at this establishment. Koa Mart is not just a grocery store with shelved or frozen goods; they also have a kitchen in the back that makes fantastic lunches. The dishes they offer are the very same ones I grew up with, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. It felt like a little taste of home. The young girl working up front was fantastic—very friendly, respectful, and a pleasure to speak with. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of what Koa Mart has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese and Hawaiian flavors.

I am a Korean who moved from NY/NJ area about 6 months ago. I came from an area with lots of Korean grocery chains (Hmart) and this past months I had a chance to check out Lotte mart in Tampa/Orlando. Meat quality at Koa Mart is by far the best I have seen across all these places. I am so thankful Koa Mart is here. Otherwise, I wouldn't know where to get my Korean groceries. They carry good selection of K-food & pre-made food for its size. All the employees are super friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place.
