Ryan's Island Cafe

This small, casual, and comfortable cafe has good food and good vibes. Seating inside and out. The servers were welcoming and friendly. Our server was a little less friendly but only in comparison to the others. Our food was fresh, tasty, nice portions, and served in a reasonable amount of time. I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

My daughter and I had breakfast here and it was so yummy! Our server Scott was very attentive and polite. He made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was up to our expectations. The atmosphere was great and we liked that they didn’t cram a lot of tables in and make it feel too claustrophobic. I had French toast and she had chocolate chip pancakes with hashbrowns.

The place: This place has the best breakfast in the Clearwater beach area and I’m not just saying that. It’s a small cafe that gives you that small town vibe where everyone knows your name…and they do take time remember you. Upon entering your are greeted my the sweetest hostess and I wish I could remember her name for a shout out but she’s the real GOAT. Stephanie and Jennie took care of us and we’re never short on the excellent service or the ice coffee refills (I highly recommend). The food: Their Eggs Benedict has sky rocketed to the top of my personal food favorites list. One of my most sought after breakfasts but I am usually left disappointed. This was in no way the case for Ryan’s as his culinary skills brought us back daily during our trip and I will forever recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. From the croissants to the French toast nothing was less than excellent. The biscuits and gravy are a definite must that will fill you up with the generous serving sizes. If you like mimosas then they’ve got you covered…no light pours and half off on Monday’s. Overall: Ryan and his staff were amazing with their welcoming smiles. We will definitely be returning on our next trip down. If your looking for a great breakfast spot then look no further. Until next time keep doing what your doing.

Great job 👏🏽 the host was great the service is fantastic it was super busy but that didn’t stop them from doing a great job getting us to a table asap Athena was absolutely awesome her service was great made sure she was on it with taking our order and getting the drinks and food out has a great sense of humor love it and was quick with it all the good food display was great as well tasty were from Michigan we definitely will be back again!!!! This place is truly PHENOMENAL! Trust the great reviews! All the staff is incredibly friendly as well! We had bacon eggs benedict and a breakfast burrito which was "pressed" to perfection. We’re already planning our next meal here. Thanks Ryan’s ! Update: We were able to make it back one more time before our weekend ended and it was just as delicious as the first! I did a Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and my husband had a "breakfast BLT". I don’t know how they do what they do, but I appreciate it ! Good meals aren’t always easy to find !

The 4.9 rating with almost 2k reviews caught our eye. It turned out to be legit! If I could give six stars I would. The menu was extensive, but Vicki gave the best recommendations. Started with southwest rolls, and I think it was the first time I ever had them where they weren’t over cooked. We downed them in seconds. I did the steak benedict and added pastrami with a side of crispy hash next. It was cooked perfectly, to the point of taking videos of busting the yolks. The steak was tender and the pastrami was some of the best Ive ever had. It was A LOT of food. My girlfriend got the patty melt and it was terrific. The onion rings were absolute fire too! It tasted like they double seasoned the rings and the batter. Sooooo crispy! The service was great, Vicki was fabulous, and I think the owner even came out to make sure everyone was doing good. If I lived closer I would try everything on the menu here eventually. Being only two hours away, I will be back numerous times!

We discovered Ryan's Island Cafe in a rush on our wedding day, 12/22/22. The staff was very polite and welcoming. Picked up food for 4: They have a wide variety of menu items. EVERY single thing we ordered was amazing. My mother is hard to please and she absolutely LOVED the mushroom & swiss burger. It looked delicious and was large, freshly made and smothered with melted cheese and mushrooms. The breakfast burrito was equally as delicious and the 3 very large pancakes were tasty w syrup and butter, but adding blueberries, bananas and strawberries was not only asthetically pleasing, but our taste buds thanked us too. They also make a great omelet and the home fries were perfect. The patty melt was superb and the french fries were hot and crispy. We made a point to stop back by on our way home on 12/24 and dined in this time. They have ample seating and the inside decor is super cool. We will definitely be back next time we visit Clearwater Beach.
