Yanks Air Museum

An absolutely fantastic visit. Photos just cannot do Yanks Air Museum justice. There's so many planes on display here, from different eras, and in immaculate condition. It's unreal, and it's impossible not to be wowed by the collection. The workshop and boneyard offer a behind-the-scenes look at restoration that's simply magical. Staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and very friendly, often going out of their way to help out. We will definitely be returning!

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Loved seeing all the aircraft’s. We came for their kids Halloween event, which was nice. They didn’t give out much candy like they had promised, but overall it was a nice experience.

With the possibility of being over looked, the Yanks Air Museum is a must-see for any aircraft enthusiast. The hangers are full of a wide range of aircraft ranging from civilian to military and pioneering to modern. Being able to access the workshop and boneyard was a massive highlight. The staff were all very friendly and loved to interact and explain about the various aircraft. Fully accessible for wheelchair users as well.

I’m 55 my Dads an old pilot. We ate Flo’s and then went to Yank’s. First Flo’s is old school old. Don’t be fooled by the out side the food is amazing and it’s a great place. Then onto Yank’s what an absolute amazing underrated museum. It’s the west coast Smithsonian. 200 plus aircraft all gorgeous. I’m guessing 5-8 acres indoor of history. I HIGHLY recommend. Honestly I want to say thank you to whoever "Yank" is. Thank you!

A really cool place if you're interested in learning about airplanes and how they have changed over the years. The importance of the airplanes in times of war etc. overall a great place to bring the kids

Got to both see the cockpit of & sat in the front seat of an F-14 Tomcat that was in both Top Gun movies. You could even tour the Connie that's parked on the ramp outside whenever there's open aircraft day. They have a wonderful gift shop & museum theater there.

This place was a lot of fun and very educational. We took our elementary students on a field trip here. They really enjoyed seeing all the pland badgering are tour guides with questions. They especially liked making paper airplanes and then seeing whose flew the furthest. The gift shop was pretty cool as well.
