The Duplex

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere made the entire experience even better. The wait staff was fantastic, and our waitress, Sabrina, truly stood out with her friendly attitude and attentive service. She made us feel welcome from start to finish. From the beautifully crafted cocktails to the flavorful dishes, everything was done with care and excellence. This place easily ranks as one of my favorite brunch spots of all time. The combination of great service, a lively yet comfortable vibe, and amazing food makes it a standout. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Waitress ambar b(that's on the receipt) was pleasant. Went on a weekday for brunch. It was my first time coming in from out of town because I kept seeing about it. Food presentation was ok and taste wise is was just ok to me as well. I ordered the shrimp and grits, never had fried shrimp and grits so i wanted to try it(everywhere i go i usually order shrimp and grits) I personally prefer the tail off but to each is own. They also put corn in the grits that I really didn't care for. Also ordered was the pancakes... you get 2 thick pancakes for $16 with strawberries on them served with blueberry syrup. Even with the syrup they just lacked flavor to me. The French toast was good but was $20 for 1 piece(challah bread) that's kinda crazy to me. Three pigs in a blanket based off the title you might think it was sausages rolled in pancake batter but no it's a sandwich and it was just ok as well.

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, and the customer service was top-notch! My waitress, Deborah, was beyond phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and truly made the experience special. The DJ was on point and kept the vibe just right. I can’t wait to come back to The Duplex! 🍹🎶

Our waitress Sabrina was very attentive. The food came out quick and hot not to mention 10/10. Chicken seasoned to perfection. Unlimited mimosas,This is my 2nd time here and they dont miss!

Absolutely one of the best happy hour in Chicago. Make sure to get their duplex burger, bone marrow toast, and honey Sriracha wings. They also make their drinks strong but delicious. We got the amaro spritz, bergamot spritz, and passionfruit maragarita. Service is very attentive and professional. Street parking only. You can use Inkind app.

Honestly, best birthday brunch ever! Thank you for letting us celebrate my 32nd birthday, Hope you guys allow my friends and I to come back 😅 we may have had a little too much fun after the bottomless mimosas. Our waitress Deborah was amazing, the bartender was friendly and kind, the food was delicious, the drinks were good, and the music was grooving. 10/10 will be bringing my friends who visit from Texas here as a routine stop.

From the welcome into the building to the diversity of the crowd to the excellence in service, cocktails, and delicious food, this place easily rates as one of my all time favorite brunch experiences. Simply excellent.
