Customer Reviews
SaiGon Coffee & Tea has a rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on over 102 reviews on Google
I saw the Facebook community online about this cafe. As an Asian running a business as well, I tried to defend this cafe regarding their icing measure. Looks like what their complaint is true. This is coconut taro, same extra size, just one regular ice and one extra ice. Cafe will always has something to defense. Cup size always comes in a different size without the standard procedure in place. Sometimes, we got a big size cup, and a small cup. Avocado smoothie, we keeps getting a different size cups 3 days in a row. If you have something to explain, please explain this. Same custom, 3 straight day in a row, different cups.
This was easily the most appalling café experience I’ve ever had, and I genuinely wish I could give this place a 0-star review. I’ve been here twice, and somehow the second visit managed to be even worse than the first. Instead of speaking to me directly, the manager sent an employee to tell me I needed to apologize for not ordering yet. During my first visit, we ordered the salted cream matcha, which tasted disgusting. There was no real flavor—just watered-down matcha mixed with salt and condensed milk, topped with a bland, flavorless foam. For the $9 price tag, that’s just embarrassing. I mistakenly gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to give the place another chance. The second visit, however, was on another level. It was the most disgraceful and outrageous experience I’ve ever had at a café. About 30 minutes after sitting down to do work on my laptop, an employee approached me and said the manager claimed I had been there for over an hour without ordering yet. Instead of addressing me directly, the manager sent the employee to tell me that I needed to either buy something immediately or issue an apology to them. Being told to apologize to a manager through an employee, while that same manager stood behind the kitchen curtain watching the interaction, was one of the most bizarre, ludicrous, and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had at a café. There is a reasonable and sensible way to handle a situation like this—and this was not it. I will never come back to this café and will gladly take my business elsewhere with basic professionalism, more reasonable prices, and far superior quality than at Saigon Cafe and Tea. The only enjoyable experience I had was throwing away my drink and walking out of the store.
Really enjoy Saigon Coffee Shop. The Vietnamese coffee is so good, and the space is comfy and relaxed. Easy place to bring a laptop or just hang out with a friend—games and books are a nice touch.
Such a cute and cozy café! The drinks are amazing, and the strawberry matcha is the best — so refreshing and perfectly balanced. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great for relaxing or catching up with friends. Definitely one of my favorite spots!
10/10 matcha quality! They offer so many delicious flavor options! I definitely recommend the Saigon Bahn Mi as well 🙂 Overall this shop is a must visit!
I come here mainly for the bánh mì because it’s simple yet delicious. It has less meat than the Mekong, but the balance of meat, pâté, and butter is perfect. The portion is small though. The drinks are definitely more expensive than at other places, but their quality makes up for it.
When Leonard Hofstadter (Big Bang Theory) asked if he wanted coffee, he replied, "Black and strong, like Luke Cage." Heck yeah! Popped in a multitude of times already. On the first visit, we ordered an Egg Saigon ($7.50) and an Ube Coffee ($7.50). Wow. That first sip of egg coffee had my skirt flipping. There's another place in town that makes a mean egg coffee but this one has me putting on bunny ears and grabbing my basket. Hello? Are you the Easter Bunny? Egg foam on point. My second visit had me ordering the Golden Milk Tea ($8.50). I think this will be my go-to order for this place. It's body and flavor with a little caffeine. Truly a dessert in a cup. Since then, I've been alternating between the Egg Saigon and the Golden Milk Tea. Great drinks all around. I have yet to try their food options but they look promising. I really enjoy this place!
