Cafe 86 - Chandler AZ

Very cute, very reasonably priced cafe. Ordered an iced caramel latte from their espresso bar, was roughly $7 with tip. It was very good, wasn't overpowering like Starbucks, I don't drink coffee often so that's my only comparison point. It tasted smooth and no burnt taste, perfect level of sweetness. No picture, just enjoyed it. Metal chair seating, a movable bench, a couch, and a couple outdoor chairs/tables.

We've come here multiple times and each time, the staff has been super helpful and friendly. We've tried all the ube treats and they are all amazing! My fave is the bread pudding. The hibiscus calamansi tea is the best. Highly recommend!

The hot latte was rich and full of flavor, and the individual ube cupcakes were delightful, featuring a graham cracker base topped with creamy ube. Coming again to try more treats and drinks on the menu.

This cafe as a find through a yelp even that my brother brought me over to try. The must try is the halo halo. To change it up from the prior experience, we tried the upside down halo halo. The halo halo is made up of coconut jellies, jack fruit, boba, frosted flakes, vanilla ice cream and flan on a ube base. Real jack fruit people!! Cute place to come hang out and try some desserts.

After a stressful morning, I am sooo glad I got to go to Cafe 86 to destress. I can't believe I have never visited before. The upside down Halo Halo is like a piece of art! The layers of red jello, green jello swimming in the classic ube purple are just perfect! The jackfruit is a pleasant surprise. To top it off, there was a scoop of ice cream with a piece of flan and some cornflakes on it. Wow, it literally gave me a "shut up and let me eat" moment! The cheesecake is so moist!! The manager told me that it is award winning product. Who could have resisted? It was so yummy! Not too sweet at all! Well deserved on the award!! I also purchased a pop tart for breakfast the following day. I reheated it in an air fryer for 2 minutes and it was perfect! If you ate there, they would have offered to heat it up for you. Lastly, I asked if they had any dairy free options, and the answer is yes. They can substitute the milk to soy milk or almond milk. I will highly (and freely) recommend this place to my friends who are on lactose free diet!!

I haven’t tried all the drinks but the hibiscus and halo halo are amazing as well as their cupcakes. I love how you can actually taste the taro flavor in their drinks and cupcakes. Great atmosphere if you want to dine in.

Cafe 86 is fantastic! We got an ube matcha latte, a cookie butter latte, an ube crinkle(cookie), and the ube crack cheesecake...it was all so delicious! I was nervous about the matcha latte at first but they reassured me how fantastic it was and they were right! My new favorite treat place!
