Basil Asian Bistro

I went into Basil Asian Bistro a bit skeptical—restaurants that serve multiple Asian cuisines can sometimes miss the mark—but this place genuinely surprised me in the best way. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the prices were shockingly affordable. I’m a Pad See Ew person, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw that dish priced at $10. Not only was it affordable, it was the best Pad See Ew I’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t overly salty and came with more vegetables than usual, which really helped balance out the meal. We also ordered the hot and sour soup. While it wasn’t the best version I’ve ever had, it was still good—just a bit heavier on the egg than I’m used to. One standout surprise was the fried eggplant from the Shareables section. I loved that it wasn’t drenched in sauce; instead, the sauce comes on the side, which lets the eggplant shine on its own. I also really appreciated that they offer brown rice as an option—a small detail, but a meaningful one if you’re looking for a more nutritious alternative. Overall, Basil Asian Bistro exceeded my expectations. The value, flavor, and care put into the food really stood out. The next time I’m back in Canton, OH, I’ll absolutely be returning to try more dishes.

I really enjoyed my experience there today. The food was really good. I attempted to try as much as I could. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere felt comfortable. Will definitely consider it in my future outings.

Great food. Really is some of the best Thai food I've had. Unfortunately there isn't much focus on having a menu that reflects the actual prices. Two items on our bill were almost 20% more than the listed price. The staff attempted to correct it; no real explanation as to why they haven't updated menus. I really feel updated menus would make the entire experience much better. You take time to update prices in your sales system, take time to update the menu.

I had a great experience dining at Asian Bistro. The spicy tuna roll special was outstanding, fresh and flavorful. The tiger tuna nori was a bit on the chewy side but still enjoyable. Pot stickers were well-prepared and quite tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the service at the bar was excellent, friendly, and attentive. The back dining area was a bit warm, which led us to sit at the bar instead, but it worked out well. Overall, a solid spot for good food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’d definitely return.

The food was amazing. I had the General Tso's with fried rice. Even had a slice of chocolate cake that reminded me of the cake from the movie "Matilda". Delicious. Never had to worry about my water glass being full and enough food to share if wanted. You dont like spice? Tell them no spicey and its out of there. Fantastic. The pics are from others meals at my dinner. Everything was great. Call ahead for quicker seating.

Personally, I find it difficult at times to find 5 star tasting food in the Canton area. Now that I have found Basil, im super excited. The sushi was perfect, the egg rolls somehow tasted better than any place ive had before. The spicy wontons...amazing! The sauce that it comes with is the best! The spicy garlic fish is the best tasting fish I've had in awhile. The Korean sizzling steak was so tender and juicy. All the food we had was out of this world. Our waiter, Oscar was phenomenal and was always attentive, drinks were always filled, and he always made sure we had everything we needed.
