No frills local cafe with surprisingly large menu and drinks selection including smoothies. The pastries are homemade and delicious. A few outside tables and decent inside seating options. Very Brooklyn. Pleasant and friendly service. Very kids friendly. Not very laptop friendly.

Muse Café & Tea might be one of the only spots in NYC that actually understands the early-morning remote worker. I came in just before 8am on a weekday, most cafés around here don’t even open until 10 and not only were they open, but they were fully staffed, welcoming, and ready to go. Super rare. The food was surprisingly great for a café: I had a pressed sandwich with egg, turkey, greens, and tomato—fresh, warm, and not overly greasy. Their espresso was bold and well-pulled, no burnt taste. Even the little salad on the side was fresh and colorful. What really makes this place stand out is the vibe. It’s quiet, spacious enough to get work done, and you’re not battling techno music or crammed into a corner. If you’re looking for a calm, early open café with real food and space to think, Muse nails it. Bonus: tons of menu options, friendly service, and they’re open from 7am on weekdays. This place is a go-to for anyone who starts their day early and wants to avoid the chaotic brunch crowd.

Great tucked away corner cafe to meet for a morning breakfast meeting with good coffee. They have a large selection of your traditional pastries but also the savory specials of the day like the spinach turnover is amazing. If you don’t see anything then they also offer made to order breakfast items like breakfast burritos / wraps 🌯 which are great. The space is low key and quiet. Highly recommend this cafe 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice local cafe with a cozy outdoor seating area. The offerings are surprisingly varied for such a small place, and the food is excellent with good sized portions. Their iced herbal tea was terrific and refreshing. I would only eat outdoors here since the indoor space is too small for my liking, but would definitely consider taking out, because the food is quite good. Great to have a nice place of this kind in the neighborhood!

Lots of seating inside! Got a hot tea since I came 30min to closing and they had already gotten rid of all of their food.

I've been coming to this place for two years now and the food is surprisingly good for a small cafe! However, the value is not there. If you get a salad and add chicken you end up at around $25 (with tip etc.) for a salad - not great value but always delicious. The real issue is the wait time: I often order soup to go and it takes like 10-15 minutes to heat up - makes no sense! and then often it's only 3/4 filled - given the price - please fill whole container. That said, the people at the counter are lovely and the food is very good.

I recently visited Muse Cafe for breakfast with a friend and I must say, it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious - we both opted for the avocado toast which was not only healthy but bursting with flavor. The addition of chickpeas added a unique twist that we absolutely loved. The service at Muse Cafe was exceptional - the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We also indulged in a dirty chai and a Matcha latte, both of which were perfectly crafted and delicious. To top off our meal, we couldn't resist trying the freshly made cheese dish and banana nut bread. Both were outstanding and truly showcased the talent of the chefs at Muse Cafe. Overall, our experience at Muse Cafe was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere made for a perfect morning. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu offerings. Highly recommend!
