The service was generally good and accommodating for a busy Sunday night. We arrived around 8:30 and waited for about 10 minutes. Overall the food wasn't bad. The plating is much nicer than what you would normally get in K-Town, but other than that I'd need to go back a few more times to see if I appreciate their food more. Otherwise, once in a while it's a good spot to hit up. Extra kudos to the staff simply because they hustled in a busy place, and kept on top of the food, which can get lost in the bustle.

Korean Jipbap menu was great to see in this fancy fusion K restaurant! Price is really reasonable! I ordered fish of the day for lunch. It was grilled perfectly and it went well with a bowl of rice and neat side dishes. My all time favorite! It's just like real homemade food! Check it out folks!!

The food and atmosphere was great! I got the ttebokki and bibimbap, both of which were really good! Not a fan of the +2 dollar charge for the fried egg on the bibimpad but either way, it was a huge portion and tasted great! 10/10 would get it again!

It's kinda a tragedy that this place doesn't get more traffic. The food is scarcely more expensive than Shake Shack and a sight better. We had two apps, the dumplings and the hocakes. The hocakes have a lovely flavor and texture, deliciously crispy and a touch of spice. I'm not very experienced with dumplings, but to me they had a great mix of crispy on the bottom and chewy on top with good fillings and kimchi dipping sauce. For main, I had the crabby shrimp bowl. I thought this was a pretty good rendition of the idea, although I think maybe I wish I had done the bibimbap or bulgogi instead. Not that the shrimp was bad I just realized I wanted something warmer. My wife did get the bulgogi bowl and she loved it. Service was good. Ambiance was okay, but we had to sit at the bar when we'd have preferred a table. There were plenty of empty tables but they were "out of order" or not in service or something. They seem to be getting ready for a renovation. Presentation was inadequate -- appetizers were served in to-go containers. But, to me ambiance is secondary to food, and I'm perfectly happy with the food. Price is okay. We got three people worth of dinner for $80 before tip.

Ordered to-go. I looked at the menu online while commuting via subway to figure out what I wanted to have for lunch. Upon arriving at the location, a person which turned out to be one of the employees held the door open for me (they also just arrived). Then, I realized there were two separate entry ways. One where customers place and pick-up orders and the other for workers of the restaurant. There is a good variety of food for people to enjoy. I was recommended to add Bulgogi Ribeye to the Royal Bibim Bap (7 types of market vegetables on top of grain rice, fried egg, gochujang sauce, gim:dried seaweed, choice of bulgogi beef, pork, chicken, or tofu). I got a side of Halmoni Dumplings (pork, zucchini, tofu, kimchi, cabbage), a jar of Cucumber Kimchi, as well as a jar of Napa Kimchi to bring home. The food was delicious and my order could have been shared between two people. I will be revisiting to place orders in the future. Ho’cake (crispy bun filled with heavenly pork belly, kimchi hot sauce) is next on my list of foods to try.

I came here to try iron chef Esther’s dishes and it is delicious! Every dish stood out and all of us enjoyed a meal. If you are near by Barclay center, you should visit here and try her menu!

I personally did not enjoy the bibimbap. The disco fries were excellent though. The people I was dining with also were a bit underwhelmed, but that could be a taste preference? I do enjoy all other Asian food so I was surprised I didnt enjoy this Korean food as well. The waiters are helpful but will make you think everything is amazing which understandably their job but the food did not live up to the hype.
