620 State Restaurant | Sushi + Asian + American + Cocktail Bar | Bristol, TN

1st time eating here. I usually posts my reviews soon after the experience Dec 1. Our guests ordered sushi, we ordered a couple appetizers and a beef dish. While 90% of the order was awesome, the calamari was sooo NOT. It was old, I expressed my concern to our server (Bethany) that they should not serve it. She rocked the Mexican coffee drink. One of the best I have ever had! Everyone was pleased with their meals. We will go back.

The atmosphere is great, smells good looks cute and welcoming. I ordered take out so service was basic, I ordered a blue burger, chicken drunken noodles and crab Rangoons. I was not impressed with my options, although they did not taste bad or anything presentation for the burger was not very impressive it sounded a lot better on paper. The drunken noodles was not exactly what I expected at least I liked the noodles used but it lacked flavor, it was more drowned and over powered by soy and that’s about it, no spice no sauce very dry gave me a bit of heart burn due to all the sodium from the soy which usually isn’t my experience as drunken noodles is one of my favorite dishes. For $16 I wasn’t impressed with the size either, not saying i was expecting a sloppy American sized portion but it just came smaller than usual take out. The crab Rangoons were my favorite part they had good flavor although they differ in texture instead of crunchy they were soft more like an empanada like crust.

620 State will continue to be my favorite sushi spot! I have moved out of the area and me and my husband visit every time we are in town. It’s always on point and delicious. Service is great!

We were traveling from Maryland to Texas and passed through Bristol. GPT chat recommended this delicious place to us. Of course, we went there for dinner and were pleased with both the price and the quality.

Had a large group of 10 for a holiday gathering before going to the speedway to see the lights. The atmosphere was really amazing. It's was nice and quiet in the restaurant so a good conversation could be had. The music in the restaurant was pleasant but not too loud. The temperature was perfect too since it was a super cold night. The waiter seemed to not take the time to manage the whole table and seemed to only be able to handle one request at a time.but we were not in a hurry so we didn't complain. The food was enjoyed by all of us. We had appetizers and meals. The happy hour drinks were a pleasant surprise. Overall an incredible experience and would definitely return.

Enjoyed our meal. Was a little snafu with our reservation where people with later reservations were getting seated before us, but was cleared up quickly. Service was quick and our server appeared exactly when we needed her so that was nice. My husband got a steak which was fantastic. I got chicken which was a little dry. The atmosphere is immaculate. Really enjoyed our experience.

Finally a 5 star meal and service in Bristol. We ate at the bar and the service was awesome! Espresso martini was great. Actual espresso Fire cracker shrimp and pot stickers was great. Sushi was fresh and on point. The General Tso chicken was good. But I wouldn't order it again.
