Good service and very friendly atmosphere. Food in general tasted good but I think chicken was a little weird, like not fresh.
Went here with five kids and myself. I would say this place is good but they didn’t allow take out after we paid for four diff broths. We over ordered veggies, seafood, and with kids they mostly eat udons or noodles. When it was time to get our check, they refused to let us take the broth home despite us having so many leftover veggies, udons, and seafood. They said it was because we did all you can eat meat. In defense, there is no meat left on the table or in the broth. I told them I paid for four broths and ask if I can just take one home. The broth is 16.99 and we didn’t get topped off with any additional broth. They still refused to let me take one container of broth home. I ended up taking all the leftover veggies, seafood, and noodles home and made a new dish or soup. Let’s just said I went to did expensive groceries at a hotpot place to make dinner. To the restaurant, I understand this was charged all you can eat meat, if you were to itemized the meats separately it would been a lot cheaper than the all you can eat price total. Happy lamb is just right across the street and would have been way cheaper under $200 with tips where here the bill is double the price and you guys refused to let me takeout broths when I paid almost $40 for broth. Shame greedy
My wife and I were in from out of town. My wife is Food was so good we went two nights out of the four we were in town. We arrived around 5 and were seated right away. It was packed by 6. First night we had individual pots and the second night we shared. The frog legs were very good! Don't forget to add the sauce and snack option.
I had such a wonderful experience at Liu Yishou Hotpot! The ingredients were super fresh, especially the beef tripe and pork aorta – so crunchy and delicious after just a quick dip in the hotpot. The broth was authentic, flavorful, and not overly spicy. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always checking in to refill the soup or change plates. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, with a lively atmosphere that made dining with friends really enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Went for lunch with my family, we had the combo for 2 and the snack bar, which was more than enough for us. Although two snack bars were listed in the price of the combo($58,98), since there was 4 of us we had to pay for 2 extra(per 1 person $3,99). The duck soup was great but the tomato one didn’t really work with dipping the food, I recommend taking the plain one. The snack bar had great sesame chicken but the other meats were cold, it also included a few puddings and fruits such as oranges. Besides the food, you could order smoothies on the tablet each table received. The staff was nice and delivery of food fast, though the atmosphere wasn’t grand in any kind of way. I did enjoy it there as an experience but trying one time is more than enough.
The broth is bland, and the flavor is not good. The sauce is bad, and the sesame sauce is flavorless and OILY. The meat has blood streaks on it. The ingredients are cheap and bad quality, for example the cheap hot dogs from supermarket. You can spend this 80 dollars better somewhere else
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place truly deserves it. The customer service was terrible from start to finish — rude staff, no effort to explain anything, and zero concern for the customer experience. What really upset me was the false advertising and shady pricing. They warned that we’d be charged "market price" for any unfinished food, but then intentionally brought way more than we ordered. It felt manipulative, like they were trying to set us up to overpay. I included photos where you can see they gave us different plate sizes and double the amount of food. When we tried to address it, the staff just argued and refused to take responsibility. The whole thing left a bad taste — not just from the food, but from how unprofessional and dishonest it all felt. I left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. There are plenty of hotpot spots that actually treat customers with respect — this is definitely not one of them.
