Cafe Darq

We stumbled upon Cafe Darq while we were touring Chinatown. My daughter said it smelled really good so she wanted to go in. I got the mango strawberry smoothie. I tried to get it with less sugar, but they told me they don’t add any sugar - just the strawberry jam. It was still way too sweet for my taste. The only size option available for a smoothie was a large, which made it tough to finish. The milk tea had just right amount of sweetness, but I was a bit disappointed by the boba. There wasn’t much of it, and they were tricky to get up through the straw. There is some outdoor seating as well as indoor and the decor was colorful and fun. I probably won’t be a repeat customer though.

I visited Café Darq today to have a coffee and study with my laptop. The ambiance was cozy, and the coffee was excellent. Dominic, the staff member working at the time, was incredibly friendly and helpful — he had such a great vibe and provided outstanding service. Thanks for the great experience!

So glad we found this place! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was so smooth and delicious! I asked for lighter sweetness and it was perfect! Definitely recommend for coffee or Boba!

Very warm and inviting spot in Boston Chinatown. I got the hot matcha latte and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it while sitting at the window and watching the snow flurries come down. Would highly recommend!

The chocolate chip smoothie is a must ! Lots of varieties of drinks & flavors to choose from. They even offer gelato ! It taste amazing, I’m NOT matcha fan at all but I tried the matcha gelato & it was out of this world ! I was immediately obsessed with it, you gotta try it. The best matcha flavor I’ve ever tasted 🙂 def will be returning here every time I visit Boston.

Seriously one of the best Taro milk teas I have ever tasted. It’s sweet but not too sweet and super creamy. The boba are the perfect consistency. Chewy but not too tacky of hard in the center. You can tell the boba is so fresh. They also have cute indoor and outdoor seating!

The house Darq Vietnamese coffee is lovelyyy but beware, it is very very caffeinated! Have it in the morning and conquer your day. Cute ambiance and there’s lots of seating, outlets and WiFi. A big plus it is open late!
