Ichiban Ramen

We stopped by for an early lunch on a weekday. The staff were friendly and helpful! We ordered the sushi lunch special and it came with a lot of food! We also got the crab Rangoon and they were delightful. Once the noon hour came, it was packed in there! We will be back!

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived 1/2 hour before closing time. We never felt rushed. Our server patiently explained some of the menu items for us. My ramen was flavorful. I would definitely order it again. The sushi was about average but priced accordingly.

Sushi was AMAZING. We ordered the winter roll and the sushi entree and everything was delicious. Portion sizes were good and we had leftovers to take home. Our waitress was so sweet. She gave us extra ginger to go and packed the to go box perfectly!

Outer layer of the takoyaki was crispy and moist within, we enjoyed that! We also got 2 sushi rolls which were yummy as well.

My fav place to eat in the Bis/Man area! Not a whole lot of Asian food places in the area, and many don’t do it well unfortunately, but Ichiban stands out! Everyone is super friendly and efficient in their service. The food is super good and you can’t go wrong with your order! My partner and I have ordered from their appetizers, sushi, ramen, hibachi, and entree menus and have been more than satisfied with all of it. Definitely one of the better food spots in town and for sure my favorite!

We were visiting Bismarck, and I really wanted to have noodles for dinner. I am so glad we ended up here. I got the Ramen kimchi. The kimchi was not overly spicy but a perfect balance of crunch, tang, slightly sweet, with amazing flavors that elevated the ramen. The noodles were chewy (al dente), which I prefer over soft noodles that soak up all the broth. I did wish they had an option for rice noodles, but it was extremely happy with their house noodles. The 2nd picture is the Tonkutsu Ramen that my daughter selected and enjoyed. The 3rd are simple tuna and salmon rolls that are made with quality ingredients, and they were affordable at about $6 a roll. They had many other sushi rolls available that I would love to try. I also got sweet potatoes tempura for an appetizer, and those were delicious as well. The waiter, Paul, was extremely friendly and kind. Amazing customer service from Paul. The restaurant is also very nice. There were a lot of people there, so it was busy. It's not too noisy there, but it is not a quiet place either. I would compare the noise level to like a busy Olive Garden. I am looking forward to returning the next time I am in Bismarck!

Well I didn't think I'd be impressed, but I was. Ichiban is a littke secret hole in the wall with surprisingly good food. Our waiter was awesome and friendly. Fast and just all around cool. The atmosphere wasnt exactly quiet but not overly loud . My family and I will return for sure.
