Amazing experience. ♥️ Ms. Connie was amazing. She really made our experience here so good. She was so sweet and friendly. She went over the menu and offered suggestions. The food was so good. I got the pho soup and my husband had hibachi. We really enjoyed visiting. We will definitely be back. They have pretty cool events as well on certain days. Thanks MS. Connie for being so sweet. ♥️ Be blessed!! Jesus loves you!! 😊
Had the Kiss of Fire Sushi roll ans the Hawaiian roll. Both were very good. The Miso soup was hearty. The Kiss of fire was exactly as it said, you felt a little bit of heat that wanted you coming for more. Enjoyed my experience here.b service was great. Lydia was a a wonderful and attentive server.
This was my 3rd time eating here over the last 5 years and it impressed me each time. The sushi was delicious and fairly priced. The location makes it even better, it is away from the busier streets/congested areas and they are open late. If you like sushi and want a good deal, go here. There's been plenty of sushi spots over the years that have come and gone, but this place definitely fills the void. Check them out.
Love this place! Food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, beautiful family and local business. Their ginger dressing on the salad was AMAZING! You can tell that it’s homemade, very bright and refreshing. Will definitely be back!
We’ve been here a couple times. The first time was decent enough for us to come back a second time. The first time, the guy was welcoming, attentive, had great communication and overall, it was good. The second time, not so great. I am not sure if my RBF scared the waitress or what. She kept forgetting things and took forever to check on us. We never got the napkins she offered to get. Forgot that she was refilling my drink and didn’t check on us. We ended up having to ask the other girl about the refill. Forgot the chopsticks and soy sauce. Every time we looked over, she was playing on her phone. Then some boy that both girls seem to have googly eyes over, happened to pull in the parking lot. Our waitress brought us our check prior to this boy pulling into the parking lot. He sat out there probably 5-10 mins. It literally took my husband just a second to pull out the card to pay, and she didn’t come over until the boy left and I walked out. The lack of service tonight was sad. For how much we spend on dining out, I am not sure this was worth the money, but I don’t think I will be returning.
When you walk into a restaurant around 6pm, and it is empty, that should tell you something. We only tried it because we received coupons from the radio station offer. We were seated at our table and the waitress, and the person she was training, were very nice. They took our order. My husband got the shrimp yakisoba, our daughter got the shrimp yakisoba with no vegetables and extra noodles, and I got the brisket pho. Our daughter and I got Thai tea for our drinks and my husband got a regular tea. My husband’s plate looked like a dry ramen noodles but significantly had more sauce than our daughter’s plate which looked like cooked ramen with no sauce. There were no extra noodles because her plate had less noodles than her dad’s plate. The shrimp on both plates literally looked like salad shrimp. For the amount you pay, it definitely should’ve been bigger than the size shrimp we received. My daughter’s extra noodles were non-existent, so we asked the waitress to remove that off the bill. She came back with a lady, who we thought was the owner, and she told us that she did receive extra noodles on her plate. My husband showed her that our daughter’s plate had less noodles than he did .Being aggravated, we stated, "you don’t take off for removing vegetables, but charge more for noodles that were not there?" Mine was ok, but the broth tasted like something I would get from an instant pho package. The waitresses made sure they kept up with our table and asked if we wanted to try dessert. I wanted to really try the Japanese cheesecake, but after the less than mediocre meal, we decided to skip it. But hey, we have enough coupons to cover the whole meal. They hand us our check, which we scan, and notice they charged us more for certain stuff that was listed less on the menu. Their menu prices are lower than what is ringing up. Try doing this to unsuspecting people over and over, they are definitely making more than what they advertise. The waitress gets the lady again and she tries to make up excuses, but does fix it. So, we get the corrected bill, my husband has to go get another ticket (we thought three was enough and didn’t realize before we came in how much more the food going to cost) comes back inside, hands them the coupons to cover the meal and we leave cash for tip. As we are about to walk out, the lady walks up and says we can only use one coupon. Now, I don’t know if other places are just doing it wrong, but we have used more than one coupon for a meal at several places. It is not clearly stated on the coupon one coupon per visit, just says cannot be combined with any other discounts. The only discount is we paid $10 for a $20 meal ticket. She tried to say she will get fired if all she received for our ticket was those coupons for our meal, but I truly think she was the owner and the guy sitting at the bar watching tv was the other owner. She also stated that she made nothing on our ticket by receiving those coupons. Like I’ve said, each place we have ever bought coupons for meal has taken more than one coupon, and on many different visits to the same places, has had zero issues receiving them. So, we took the additional three coupons back and paid the rest by debit. $80 for hardly any food that was mediocre at best. We then decided to give the other couple there eating, whose husband offered to share his umbrella with my husband when it was raining and he had to go outside to get another coupon, one of our tickets for their meal. It sucks we wasted money on these tickets in the first place and have a few left over. I guess we can bless others that may need a meal with them because I doubt we will be going back unless we each take a ticket and order to go orders individually. 😂 Don’t waste your time or money on this place and I hate to say that about any small business. If you want really great hibachi food that is more like a to-go, carry-out option (you can dine-in as well) go to Ichiro in D’Iberville. It’s on the same strip as Outback Steakhouse. You get great portions and the price is really good too.
The miso soup is the best I've had on the coast. We both ordered the sesame chicken which came with 4 pieces of California roll, 2 gyoza dumplings, stir fry veggies, and steamed or white rice. We were told the chef makes all of the sauces in-house. Everything was great! I've added to my lunch spots.
