This place is just a fraction of the taste and quality it once had. It’s been a few years since my last visit and unfortunately the experience has really gone downhill. The ramen was straight-up bland and the chicken looked like it had been boiled. The fried sushi roll was barely fried, but we still ate it since we were hungry. The service was mediocre at best. Overall, this restaurant feels like a shadow of its former glory. Very flavorless.

I’ve been coming to Hokkaido Ramen for a while now and it’s honestly one of the best spots in Billings. The ramen is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. The staff are friendly and the owner really cares about customers and quality. You can tell they put a lot of effort into everything. Highly recommend if you want authentic Japanese food and a welcoming atmosphere

My family and friends come here often, and it’s become one of our go-to spots. Our favorite dish—by far—is the spicy beef ramen. The rib meat is incredibly tender, the broth is full of flavor, and the toppings are always spot-on. I’m also a big fan of their appetizers, especially the bang bang shrimp, gyoza, soft-shell crab, and takoyaki. Their seafood is consistently fresh, with none of that old fishy smell or taste you sometimes run into elsewhere. The karaage chicken isn’t my favorite and could use a bit of improvement, but everything else more than makes up for it. My mom is obsessed with their brown sugar boba tea, while I usually go for the Thai tea. The staff is always warm and welcoming—especially Ram and Manoj, the two Nepali gentlemen who always make us feel right at home. Sorry there aren’t any photos—we come here so often that we forget all about taking them and just dive straight into the delicious food! Overall, it’s just a great place with great food and even better people.

I order food here regularly, especially my favorite dishes are Spicy Ramen, Salmon lover and Hokkaido milk tea. These dishes are very good. The staff ram is always very friendly and provides good service, so I come here regularly. Thank you again Hokkaido ramen and sushi bar.

I was blown away by the quality at Hokkaido Ramen & Sushi Bar. The presentation of the sushi was beautiful and every roll tasted incredibly fresh. The tonkotsu ramen had a deep, rich flavor and tender chashu — better than many big-city ramen shops I’ve tried. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. This place deserves way more recognition. A must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese food.

Great lunch at Hokkaido Ramen! We enjoyed three different Ramen bowls and the Sesame Balls. The service was top notch!
