Lin's Golden Dragon has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 411 reviews on Google
First time ordering from Golden Dragon since ownership changed and while I had high expectations, I was really disappointed. The food is nothing like it was before. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken along with chicken fried rice. There wasn’t any pineapple, or peppers as expected. The sweet and sour sauce was very watery. Unfortunately the chicken friend rice was also very flavorless and had no peas in it. This review is not meant to bash the new owners, they were very kind but the food just isn’t what I expected and I want others to be aware, hopefully over time the food will improve, I personally won’t be returning. I don’t feel like I got my moneys worth.
Had the Teriyaki Chicken - excellent. Friendly staff, prices were very reasonable, entree and a bottled soda came out to $13, which I consider pretty good in 2025 for quality take-out. Restaurant was also very clean.
This was my first time coming in since the change of ownership, and honestly, I wasn’t planning on leaving a review at first. My first bowl of Jjajangmyeon had a piece of metal in it. I had only taken one bite, so I figured mistakes happen. The lady apologized and offered to make me a new batch, and I decided to let it go. However, after another long wait, my second bowl came out and that’s when I was really disappointed. Right away I could tell the portion didn’t look right. The sauce was watery compared to what I was used to, but I thought maybe the noodles were just hidden under it. So I transferred all the noodles into the small plate, and as you can see in the photo, that was all I got. When Han’s ran this place, that same plate would be filled twice over with noodles and I’d still have enough left in the bowl for lunch the next day. Here, I left still hungry. This used to be my go-to spot every weekend. I always left Han’s full and happy. Now, between **metal in the food, long waits, watered-down sauce, and skimpy portions**, this place is unrecognizable. Whatever they’re doing now is a far cry from what it used to be. I came in willing to give the new owners a chance, but after this, I don't see myself returning.
My Wife and I have been eating here for at least 7 years since moving to Bellevue. Wonderful food, and the service, it goes beyond. They treat us with kindness, like we are Family. Tonight, wanting to surprise my Wife with some of her favorite food when she returns from a trip, I ordered. Then I found out my car was dead. I called them to tell them & they without hesitation offered to deliver my food. They were at my house in just a few minutes. Awesome food. Deeply appreciated care for their customers.
I only get to eat here once every couple years due to living in Florida. But I tell you what, this is what I call the epitome of Chinese food. I grew up on Hans Golden dragon since I was a little girl living in Plattsmouth and I will follow them wherever they may go. I wish we had this in Florida because that Chinese food there is disgusting. Andrew is also the sweetest and took good care of our family. We had cashew chicken no vegetables, sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken no vegetables with beef fried rice. The star of the show. The Crab ragoon. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We ate here with the old owner and were pretty disappointed and decided we wouldn't come back. With a new owner, we decided to give it a try. Food is far superior! Tasty, with generous portions for the price. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't for a while!
Well worth the drive from the other side of the city into the suburbs for this delicious food. We ordered the sesame chicken and cashew chicken because if a place can f these dishes up then the rest of the food is no good BUT in no way is this food messed up , it was great. Sesame Chicken - the right balance of savory sweet zing with a subtle tang that hits you at the same time sesame flavor does . The chicken is almost perfectly breaded not to thick of a coat and not to thin and good sized chicken Cashew Chicken - almost just the right amount of savory without it being too salty then you get hit with a subtle sweet , then the celery and onion flavor sneaks up on you that only comes from making a aeromatic oil . Once again worth the drive from the other side of town and we have been looking for a new place since Beijing Gate closed down
