The place was very nice, the first woman who served us was very friendly, and the food was delicious. The only downside was that when we were almost finished with our meal, they brought us the bill, and we wanted dessert. They asked us three times if they had the bill ready. I felt like they were rushing me out, and that we had already been there for too long. I felt uncomfortable. I won't be back; I haven't had better food since. It's a shame, I'm a fan of that food, but I also know there are many places just as good or even better.

Shoyu Sushi 2 was the perfect spot for a mid-day lunch and conversation. A friend and I met here to catch up and exchange counsel on current events, and the space felt fresh, open, and professional from the start. The staff was welcoming and kept things moving smoothly without ever rushing us. Our food arrived quickly, beautifully plated, and just as flavorful as it looked. It struck that balance between quality and efficiency—making it easy to enjoy both the meal and the moment. Shoyu Sushi 2 is a great go-to for lunch in Bakersfield: fresh atmosphere, fast service, and sushi that satisfies. 🍣✨

Great place, really tasty food and reasonable price. The environment is really classy, and servers are attentive. The bathroom was clean and smelled really good. Food did not take too long, but tbh we were busy chatting, so we didn't notice the wait time. I always order take out and this was our first time dining in, would come back again!!! (SIDE NOTE I wouldn't want to have cheap fish, so I don't understand why people complain about the price)

Great Sushi place that has had some ownership / name changes through the years. Classic dishes are here as tasty treats. Enjoyable interior with customer picture wall. Has sound system and lighting. See video on "Birthday Music 🎵 Cheer !"

This place was awesome the sushi rolls were delicious. The customer service was great and very responsible. We didn’t have to wait to get seated and the food was prepared in a timely manner. Highly recommend! Fun fact: My rolls are all deep fried in case you’re wondering.

We celebrated my son-in-law’s birthday here last night and we had such a lovely time and delicious meal. We love everyone there, especially Mickey. She is sweet and adorable. She made us all feel very welcome. Everything we ate was perfectly prepared and ny favorite is the Plum Wine. We cannot wait to return m. Five star review ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
