Hirosaki Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

I come here all the time and absolutely love it. We normally get the same male waitress as we always eat in the sushi part and he is absolutely amazing. However, tonight we went to eat and our female waitress was absolutely terrible. She put our drinks across the table from us when she set them down along with our food as well, never checked on us but would check other tables, when she asked us if we wanted chopsticks and we had said yes she threw them on the table, and when we asked for our bill she set it across the table and stared at us like we couldn’t even add a tip if we wanted to and couldn’t put our card in because she had just took the card and bill out of our hands. I noticed she also did this with her other tables in the sushi section as well just completely ignoring people and very quick and uninterested. Normally the atmosphere and food is amazing and i’ve never had any complaints about this place but this is very disappointing!

We didn’t think it would be busy on a random Monday night. Had about a 15-minute wait to be seated. It felt like one server was working the entire restaurant, because it was a while before she took our drink orders. Once the chef came to our table, his presentation was pretty good. However, the ginger dressing was watery; the soup had almost no taste; the rice had multiple crunchy (uncooked) bites. However, the meat & vegetables were delicious. Price was reasonable.

The food was top tier, the service was amazing! It was my first time dining here and I went with a friend. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and taken to our seats. The restaurant was super crowded, as it was a Friday evening. However, we were served in a friendly & efficient manner. I ordered the Orange Chicken and Fried Rice, which came with a salad & soup. I also tried their gyoza. When I tell you that the food was scrumptious! My friend got their beef fried rice, Las Vegas tuna rolls, and she let me sample some of her food as well. It was perfectly seasoned all the way through. My beverage was The Buddha, and it came with a free souvenir glass. The drink was a little bitter for my taste, but overall, it was enjoyable. If I can't make it back there in person, I hope to order online or over the phone. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Fun place to experience. Watching the cooks prepare your food in front of you and make fun comments about the way they are cooking is especially enjoyable. The restaurant was clean. Handicap ♿️ access is very good. Children friendly and having a children's menu is very nice. The staff are very good at wearing their smiles 😃. Will definitely be returning. Worth a visit.

Best hibachi grill in all of Hendricks County and has been a great place to go for a few of my birthdays, to celebrate my graduation from college and to break the life altering news to my family that I was diagnosed with cancer (don't be worried I beat the cancer and living my life to the fullest). When I come to Avon, more often than not Hirosaki is the cause of the trip into town.

Chef was very funny and entertaining! Food... well, AMAZING! Ordered dinner for 2. Great atmosphere, clean grill and tables, everything tasted perfect! Pricing very affordable. Will definitely return!

The food and customer service was pretty good. My order was originally for take out but it was placed on a plate. The waitress then caught the error and put my food in a to go box, but it was to see it plated had I chosen to dine in.
