Dong Po Restaurant

The food is good. A buddy of mine told me to check this place out and that it dont get much better for Chinese Cuisine in the area. I ordered what I always order when I am trying out a new asian restaurant: General Tso's Chicken w/ either pork fried rice OR chicken fried rice. Initially, my server did not understand because its served with white rice... and here I am ordering (what I know they got plenty of) the meat-fried rice. The General Tso's came out on a big plate and could've served 2-3. It was amazing. Nothing but chunks of fried chicken (no hard stringy pieces) wet and dripping flavorful General Tso sauce. It had the perfect balance of saturated sweet that finishes with very mild subtle heat. Service was not what it coulda been BUT THE FOOD counterweighed that. The server would not let me get any preferred fried rice without a separate order (which pissed me off). I enjoyed the General Tso and recommend

I love the food at Dong Po. I have been coming here for many years. I love the Pad Thai. It has the perfect taste. I have a birthday coming up. I would like to invite my friends and family to Dong Po to celebrate my birthday party, but I am afraid the manager will ruin my birthday. Everyone who works at Dong Po is very nice except for the manager. The manager is an old lady who has worked at Dong Po for many years. She is extremely mean and rude to the employees and customers. I have heard a lot of bad and negative things about her. I don't like her attitude; especially when she talks to people, she has no respect for them. She's always angry and unhappy for no reason. When she has a bad day, she yells at everyone. Her customer service has always been extremely poor. I haven't seen her be nice or kind to anyone. I love the food at Dong Po as always; I just don't want the old lady manager to be mean and rude to my friends and family on my special day. Therefore, I am still debating where I should celebrate my birthday party. I am going to give Dong Po 5 stars because the food is delicious. I wish Dong Po's owners could see that because of the old lady manager, many customers have stopped coming to Dong Po and go somewhere else instead because they don't want to deal with the old lady manager’s rudeness.

02/12/25 - So odd, you can't order fried rice as a side, only as a full meal. The Hot and Sour soup was really good. Crab Rangoons were small but ok. General Tso was good, but not super flavorful. They also use breast meat, which should be thigh meat. The Pad Thai was decent, but missing the signature peanut/spice flavor. The service was excellent throughout the meal!

Food was PHENOMENAL, their brown sauce was amazing, I got the chicken & vegetable, swapped the white sauce for the brown sauce & added cashews *chiefs kiss*

The food is sooo good there and the quality of everything was just perfect. The service is amazing and it is so good. They were very welcoming so polite. The food is so amazingly priced and deliciously prepared. I will go there again and recommended this to any person craving Chinese food!

An easy go to for my takeout orders! I usually get simple orange chicken and crab Rangoons and its both delicious and filling to be worth the price. Always friendly staff when you pick up or when you sit down. Would recommend going here if you havent before.

I ordered chicken pad Thai, also pictured is honey chicken and sesame chicken. They all came with choice of soup, and all were under $15. Portions were so generous, we all took food home, enough for an another meal. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Check out their menu, they have a huge variety of food!
