Awful all around. Coming in, we were excited to try the coffees. The menu had a lot of options, and the theme of the restaurant seemed nice. We ordered 3 coffees, 2 of them just black coffee. I am not sure what's wrong with their black coffee. It could've been the filter not being replaced, but it had a rancid smell, like it's rotten, and the taste was even worse, extremely bitter and disgusting all around. I couldn't take more than one sip of it. We informed the staff at the front. They remade one to try, and it was the same exact issue. They just stated that it's fresh. They didn't offer any solutions, nor a replacement with another drink, nor a refund. We left the drinks with them, and left. It woukd seem to me that this is normal for them. Edit: The owner responded this is a fake review, so in addition I added my in person transaction. I add a lot of review as can be seen on my account, so sometimes I wait and do them all at once as I've done now. Its sad really. They'd rather just discredit the review, than fix the problems they're having. There is also another review stating the same issue, so clearly it's not one single interaction.

I used to work in a Pakistani restaurant years ago. It made me a better home cook and gave me a deep appreciation for the food from the Lahore area, where the owners were from. I REALLY loved that job. Since I moved away from my home state, I haven't been able to find food quite like what we served there. But HERE IT IS!!! When I walked in, the atmosphere and aromas were so familiar to me. The owner welcomed me, and I told him a little about my old job and how much I really wanted to eat food like that again. I ordered the achari chicken wrap, which was tender, deliciously spiced, tangy, and wrapped in flaky paratha if that wasn't already good enough. 😁 I also ordered the masala chai, which was spicy and perfect for a freezing windy day. And the owner surprised me with kheer, which I actually hadn't tried before, but it was soooo good. I'm already looking forward to going back!! There are so many chais I must try! Thank you, Noman, for a simply delightful experience!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I've had several different Kati rolls here, and each on is better than the next. As a big fan of Jefferson Market and Iggy's Eggies, I didn't think I could find a place to add to my breakfast roster, but they have with their egg kati roll. Amazing service too! Father-son owned, and they often give you free chai samples 😊

Great chai and service! I ordered a hot vanilla chai latte on the touch screen and it took a while. We waited by the counter and after a few minutes the man at the register checked in and brought me my order plus a free iced chai latte to try! Both were very good! Appreciated the gesture and opportunity to try two drinks!

Phenomenal experience at CupsNChai! The chai is delicious, and the place is lively, even on a cold, heavy snow day. People really clearly will find their way here no matter what. The staff is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. They are quick and generous with samples of their various delicious offerings

10/10. The staff was extremely welcoming. We happened to walk in before a Sahoor event they were hosting and got to try delicious food. My strawberry matcha was great, and so was my sister’s vanilla matcha.

Ikram Nawabi is such an amazing soul! From the moment we walked in, his warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel completely welcome. The way he served us was truly phenomenal every detail was handled with so much care and attention. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does and takes great pride in making sure his guests have a wonderful experience. The Chai was absolutely perfect rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection with just the right balance of spices. The cookies paired beautifully with it; they were fresh, buttery, and full of flavor. You could taste the quality and effort put into everything. The café itself is stunning, with a cozy and elegant design that creates such a relaxing atmosphere. Every corner feels thoughtfully decorated from the warm lighting to the artistic touches that give the space its unique character. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, have great conversations, and truly enjoy your time. Overall, Ikram and the café have created something really special. The combination of excellent service, delicious Chai, delightful treats, and beautiful ambiance makes this spot a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends!
