Youngstown State University Bookstore and Barnes & Noble Cafe

Check your reciept carefully,for refund policy cause they show you different different policies in email, the staff says different policy, the reciept have something different. And the staff isnot helpful at all rather rude when you have issues. Plus you can get the same books within half the price somewhere else than here.

Very understanding staff at the front counter. Made me feel welcomed. Knowing there isn't just books like Barnes and Noble but mini Cafe and YSU swag. Great even if you have a a fury friend you want swag for. Everything from baseball hats to sweats and what appeared to even be jerseys and possibly casual wear. There even seemed to be plastic dividers to help with the days we live in. Even looked as though they were ready if the University decided to do temperatures check.

They don't sell much here. They need to update the tables with more comfortable chairs otherwise it's quiet enough in there nothing springs at you from out of the ceiling

The staff is so kind, friendly, and over-the-top helpful. Being an older non-traditional student can be challenging but the staff has never made me feel out of place.

Check your items before buying. They try to sell a used book without informing the buyer, which is already written and printed and lightly worn, Interesting part is the used book is just a few dollars lower than new one.

I normally don’t have many problems with this store but the worker that was checking me out on Wednesday 21,2024 at 3pm at the front counter was very rude. (she had glasses and a tattoo on her arm)She cut me off multiple times and seemed very annoyed when I didn’t even do nothing. I won’t say anything rude about her because that’s not right but I didn’t deserve to be treated like that.

What a difference this campus is and the bookstore is evidence of the wonderful changes way to go YSU.
