Churchill's Booklover's Haunt

This was such a beautiful store. I was impressed with their ability to efficiently utilize a small space. Everything was well organized and easy to locate what you wanted. This may sound strange but, it smelled really good and nostalgic in the store. And the staff was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this Yakima gem!

OMG OMG. This is the most fascinating shop I've ever had the privilege to enter. It's so many things: antiques, vintage audio, new and used books, and: (most importantly) a classic jukebox. That works! You enter the antiques room through a pair of french doors and approach the first stereo jukebox ever made. It plays 45s and the vertical player mechanism is visible. Parking is easy and plentiful, and the entire beautiful downtown Yakima is an easy walk from here. The proprietors are works of art themselves.

This bookstore has the most interesting things and books I have ever seen. This is my favorite place in Yakima. Super helpful owners.

The woman who works here is kind and helpful. The gentleman, however, couldn’t be bothered to look up at me or open his mouth as I asked him a question. He half-gestured his response and never looked up. I love the bookstore and I’ll only shop here when the kind woman is available to help me.

A surprisingly rich and eclectic collection of material that could supply one's mind with a lifetime of knowledge. Also some neat pens and maps. To the reader with spiritual discernment - some volumes come from the light, some volumes come from darkness. He who has ears, let him hear. - Matthew 11:15.
