Ink by Hudson

On November 1, 2023, I flew out of Tucson International Airport and I wanted to buy a pre-packaged Saguaro cactus gift for my grandson. I was assisted by a tall cocky, arrogant, rude woman who acted like she owned the store. When I asked her for a bag for the cactus, she refused to give me one because she said I only purchased one item. I would not have cared but I was getting on a plane to fly to my destination. A caring man behind me was also purchasing one item, but he asked the woman for a bag and she quickly gave him one, and the gentleman gave the bag to me to put the cactus in. I thanked the gentleman then proceeded to my boarding gate. As I thought about the interaction, i decided to go back to the store to return the purchase. The woman should be fired for being discriminatory!, rude and cocky. If she owns the store, oh well, she has a captive customer base, she probably won’t lose anything over this negative review. She could give a man a bag, but would not give a woman - a plastic bag for a legitimate purchase. Please see See attached receipt to determine who the arrogant woman was.

I had time to kill while waiting for my flight, and I went to Ink by Hudson—a cute little bookstore in the airport. The owner is fortunate that there are two salespeople, Danial and Samantha, who are very friendly, passionate, and willing to help customers. I was not thinking of spending money, but I purchased some stationery because they helped by telling me about the products. Happy customer! I hope owner will do everything to helpmke them happy too.

This is such a great stop to get a good book before your flight (or after) it was one of the most unique Hudson’s I’d been too. The workers were so kind and helpful they did the right about if eavesdropping and found me a copy of a book (without the movie adaptation cover) I’d been looking for.

Ink has a large selection for an airport bookstore and Ink's staff member, Samantha, was so helpful and kind! I came in looking for a specific book and could not find it, but she was able to quickly and kindly assist! I recommend Ink to anyone looking for a book passing through the Tucson airport!

Your worker, Elena is so good at suggesting good books. Have visited multiple times during travel and not only is she funny but also incredibly helpful with finding and selecting something perfect for you. The candle smells are to die for 😍

Waiting at the B gates at tucson international airport. This store was staffed by one lone book nerd. She was fantastic, informative, helpful. So much so that as i left a woman stopped me to comment on the incredible service she saw me recieve. Thank you samantha for being you!
