Books-A-Million

Had some stuff we were looking for. One person in our group got one of those 5 minutes story books, adding another one to her collection. This one is about Fancy Nancy. Also got a Disney-themed 5 second rule game. Challenging game but fun. They also have cat lunch containers so one of us got that too.

Okay so I'm here with the wife. She is the avid reader. She literally reads a book a week. And that's where we part ways. I cannot stand to read. I probably haven't read a book in over 20 years and have no intention of reading one in the future. With that said this place has a lot of stuff. Lots of things I didn't even expect to see here like backpacks and green cards toys and puzzles. It has a very large kid section which I didn't even really get photos of and on the very back wall is magazines. I'm kind of the mindset that I guess because I don't read, that I'm shocked stores carry all this stuff. Apparently some people are still into this

Great collection of books with efficient and fast service, really liked the store … Specially the coffee shop and seating is nice to read over books there before buying … Also price is really reasonable, would definitely recommend this store for a nice time with books …

Friendly staff and a great place to venture through 'a million' books. They have yet to NOT have a certain book I was looking for. Not to mention this is an excellent place to buy unique gifts and puzzles. They have an excellent puzzle selection! Here are the last 2 I picked up!

Tons of books...i could spend hours in here... I can always find something good to look at and buy for my kids

I use to adore this store but after what happened today I'll won't be returning. The reason why? I've been shopping at this store for months. Last week I came in and look around for a book on bio rythems. So it took me awhile to look because the store is so big I happen to notice that I was being followed by the manager. Every we're I went there she was pretending like she was straighting up the shelves. It passed me off so I just left because i was seriously humiliated. I went back today looked for some tarot cards and guess who tapped me on my shoulder?? Terre Haute P D.. she said I had to leave because I was caught stealing in that store. I told the office that everytime I go in that store I'm spending money. So ehy did I get singled out? Because of who I am. A Black Woman. I was never caught taking anything from that store. I was followed, singled out, and police were called on me. I was discriminated against. When is this type of behavior going to stop? We are all looked at as if we're going to steal if we go into a store. I got singled out because of the color of my skin. SMH. To the managers who lied about me stealing at bookable a million store in Terre Haute Indiana; You treated me with such disrespect. You insulted my integrity with your vicious lies, You threw stones at me while you punished and hurt my innocence, Your racist actions against me shows that; Some American's will continue to have discrimitive views in there hearts and lack success while other American's continue change and know in there hearts that God created only one race; The Human Race... Blessed Be to whoever reads this and understand the feeling of being lied on, disrespected, fausly accused, preyed upon , reticulated, judged, railroaded ,framed and set up by the people who you suppose to provide good quility customer service...

I can't leave this store without spending at least three hundred dollars
