Mojomala Books, Records & Cool Stuff

A great shop for retro books and records… I’ll be back to buy some records for my wife’s record player.

I genuinely can’t believe yesterday was my first time in Mojomala - truly the most incredible gem tucked away in Silver Spring. Michael, the owner, is so helpful, patient, and kind! The small but mighty store has SO many finds, no matter what you’re shopping for, and prices seem lower than most local vinyl shops. I stopped in specifically for Record Store Day, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had - Michael and his wife even showed up at 6am with handmade cookies and hot coffees for everyone in line. I can’t wait to come back!!

I ordered a book online and couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. The book was priced very reasonably, and arrived in perfect condition. It was in my mailbox only a couple of days after I ordered it. I will happily do business with these people again. Highly recommend!

Just found my favorite new bookstore tucked right next to a brewery! I still haven’t finished the stack that I bought last time, but I definitely want to go back soon. The selection of books is very well curated and prices are affordable. Great place to stop if you need to grab a gift for a friend.

What's not to love about a great second hand bookstore with a knowledgeable owner? Browse a surprisingly deep collection (scored a copy of East of the Sun for under 10$, kid scored the latest Percy Jackson), a wall full of CDs & records, stickers and bookmarks that kids will want. Old school charm meets modern convenience - right by SB brewery and up from the metro steps.

It’s a hidden treasure, with exquisite taste for book and music. You better go soon. And prices are still low.
