Two Birds Books

Visited this book store on vacation while my family was at the ice cream store down the street and it reminded me of my favorite book store back home. Finished my vacation book early due to delayed flight so I picked up a used book for the return trip home. Nice, cozy atmosphere and although the book seller wasn’t chatty (which I appreciated) I felt like I could ask for a recommendation if I had needed help finding a book. 10/10!

I always love stopping at Two Birds Books when I’m in the area! We love the kids corner and my daughter could honestly spend hours there reading and exploring the collection. I can always get fun keepsakes or gifts, and books for myself! Gary and Denise are the friendliest shop owners, extremely knowledgeable, and so so helpful.

One of the most charming, cozy bookstores I’ve ever been to! Such an underrated gem. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming and the place greets you with the warmth of relaxing jazz that lingers in the background, as well as homey smell of fresh books. A cozy spot tied together so beautifully. Easy to navigate and super organized. Was my first visit & definitely will be back 🙂

A cute, locally owned book store that specializes in used books, but also carries new books as well. You'll also find other things that have been locally sourced like candles, and the owner is super friendly! From the outside the store is a little unassuming, like most Santa Cruz businesses, but once you step inside it's a book lovers paradise!

Absolutely loved this local bookstore! They had a really great selection of new releases as well really high quality ( and reasonably priced) used books. My kids also loved the kid section. Definitely recommend!!

Great local bookshop! Friendly staff, cute shop. I was there for two specific books so I didn't browse, but it seems well organized. Used and new books are stocked together with the used books labeled.

Really clean & lovely hole in the wall local bookstore! Even smells nice in here. Very kind management. Highly recommend.
