Downtowne Bookstore

I haven’t been here in years, I didn’t realize it had changed so much inside. It looks even nicer now. I’ve always loved their entrance as well, a little secret pathway. They have so many cute tote bags, thumb page holders, book bags etc. I like how they have an autographed copies section. It looks so special just all those books sitting in their glass case. They even added a seating area outside if you wanted to hangout and read. Staff is nice and welcoming. I’ll have to come back soon to buy a book or a tote bag 🙂

The entryway to the bookstore feels so special. I also loved the Reading Alley next to a brick wall — such a cozy space. Inside, the person working was very helpful and nice. The bookstore has mostly used books with a curated selection of new books as well. The Halloween decorations were so fun as well. A must visit if you’re in Riverside.

Downtowne Bookstore is located on the shady Main Street of downtown Riverside. The main bookstore is down a little alleyway and features a decent selection of used books. Mysteries (or "Whodunnits") are their mainstay, though they also have SF and fantasy, mainstream fiction, and non-fiction. Out front, on the street, Downtowne has a new annex store that features gifts and new books as well as a back wall of signed books. Many of the books and gifts in the annex are art related.

Such a fun and unique bookstore!!! I definitely over spent and I would do it again!!!

Great little book store. Very clean and we'll kept even though it's been around for so long. Definitely worth a visit if you are a reader.

Great atmosphere and I grabbed some books that I hadn’t seen anywhere else locally. Love being able to continue supporting this business and the lovely people who work here.

Cute little bookstore in the heart of downtown Riverside. The selection was a little lacking in a few genres and an overabundance in others, but it was nice to stroll around and look through their fantasy and sci-fi selection.
