BOOKOFF Riverside

Was interested in buying some books... until i see theyre so overpriced. The audacity to have a book priced at $25 that has the target sticker on it and is $10 brand new at target. Gotchapon section $10 a play for a tiny toy. We just came from tokyo so this was laughable. Wont be back.

This location has an incredible selection of books, movies, and games spanning all genres for moderate prices. I was surprised at the quality and cleanliness given that most of it is second hand. They also have a fun gachapon corner with a couple dozen machines. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This has to be the best place for nerd culture in general!! What makes this place great is that they have manga, anime blurays & dvd's, merch, figures, not only weeb items though. They also have items for people that love music cassetes, vinyls, cd's. A little bit of everything! For the people that love to read they have books for all ages aswell as single issue comics & trade paperbacks. Last but not least they sell retro videogames & newer videogames they also carry japanese imports. Every section has a cleareance rack so dont be surprised if you find some gems for $2!!! (The only issue is the staff they don't hide their intentions when racially profiling customers, they are very rude & lazy when it comes to doing their research on items customers sell to them, as a customer its a good experience for some, as a seller unless you're happy with $10 for $100 worth of items don't sell here!?

I walked in to check out the store. Almost overwhelming in a organized way. Books, assorted brands of video games. Was surprised at the amount of old school games. Customer Service was excellent. Will be going back today to look around. Come check it out!

Pretty nice place, large selection of used manga, books, figures etc. I do think it's worth checking out. Obviously they're not going to have a lot of sets so I mainly found some nice single volumes of manga. From a sellers perspective they 100% lowball. I've seen many reviews complaining abt this chain lowballing valuable items. If you have something ACTUALLY valuable don't sell here, sell it yourself. If it's items you're fine with accepting less for, then the process is quick and easy. they give you cash after like 10 minutes. I've sold twice with this brand and I'll do it again

Staff was friendly and quick. Felt pretty low-balled offer, though. Try another avenue, such as offerup, etc. first, in my opinion. My funky pops are brand new mint condition.

This store is fantastic! It has a LOTS of stuff that you might be interested in! There's anime, figurines, games, game systems, books, CDs and so much more! We gave this store a try by having my brother sell DVDS and the result was thirty-six dollars for 85 DVDS (about forty-five cents each) and my brother was expecting more so he won't be selling it. Thanks anyways.
