Beautiful, historic, and deeply gratifying to the bibliophile in all of us. There's too much to love about this place but if you want to buy, bring your banks A Game cause it's not cheap. Almost positive you can buy the Necronomicon and a Gremlin from someone in the back. Must visit.

I have been buying books from this shop for twenty years. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The stock cannot be beaten in Americana, Literature, and History and this is an excellent place to find an uncommon book for a gift. The owner and his wife are exceptional people, who hosted me by appointment for a few hours. They offered to have me stay as long as I wanted until closing. They are now appointment only, due to the pandemic and their new location, as many similar booksellers have become. This should not be a deterrent! It is certainly worth arranging a trip!

This bookstore is by appointment only. Not for the adventurous bibliophile and bibliophagist that enjoys discovering new places during their travels. Didn't bother to read the reviews because the pictures still show a location that doesn't exist, and it's never a waste of time to go to any bookstore. Whoever operates this place should make it known on Google they are not a regular bookstore.

What a great store to find all kinds of written treasure. I think they're great! Too bad some childish adults want to make running a business about politics. Like selling a book is giving aid and confort to an enemy. All customers should feel safe in a business, and this store is run the right way. It's about selling books, not political grandstanding.
