This local bookstore is such a gem! The location is prime and easy to get to, and the space itself is clean, bright, and cozy. The selection of books is fantastic—there’s a great variety to browse, with something for everyone. I especially loved the children’s book area, which was thoughtfully set up, and the comfy chairs scattered throughout that make it easy to sit and flip through a book before buying. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the gentleman behind the counter, which immediately made the experience feel welcoming and personal. It’s clear that a lot of care went into creating an inviting space for book lovers of all ages. If you’re looking for a spot to discover new reads and enjoy a friendly, local vibe, this bookstore is definitely worth a visit!

Lovely, cozy place that is ideal for quiet time or a venue for your book club. Books are neatly showcased with comments about the book on display which i really found so appealing! Located along Broadway St. close to the train tracks

it's a very cozy store! I've been walking past it many times but only noticed it this week so decided to stop by. it's very nice inside, feels very homey. I loved the notes added to some books, the way they bookstore owners make sure to display local artists' items for sale. many items are unique, too! I also heard the staff at the check out talking to someone who seems to stop by frequently & it seems like they are not just reccomending any books but genuinely care for patrons' interests.

I’m SO excited about this place opening! Redwood City needed a local bookstore and this place is perfect. So many books and cute tchotchkes made my local artists. There are also cozy chairs to read in and they host some local book clubs. They can also order books for you that they don’t already carry! Check it out!

I always wonder how book stores can survive and then I come across Fireside Books & More and it makes so much sense. We had some coffee and snacks nearby and decided to walk around and check out the bookstore. We were welcomed right when we walked in the door and it was a super cozy place. It was pretty well organized and the prices of the books seemed very reasonable. I haven't read many books recently but figured I could read some philosophy books, thinking back to my ancient philosophy class I took many years ago. How lucky was I that when I asked the owner about some book recommendations, he was extremely knowledgeable and found and recommended some great books. He was so patient and answered all my questions. My family had a great experience there, and too bad we don't live close by. If we're every around again, we'll be stopping by Fireside again. I highly recommend it if you're looking for any books. The experience was well worth it.

What a great addition to RWC downtown! This bookstore has a nice selection of any type of books that you might want to read, cozy seating areas and even a fireplace that wants you to hang out there just a little longer. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Go check it out and spread the word.

Wonderful, wonderful bookstore, so welcoming and lovely. It's just one of those places where you walk in and feel happy, not too different from falling into a good book. They also have a children's storytime every Saturday at 10:15 that I've heard great things about, and lots of public parking nearby!
