Books-A-Million

This place isn't what I thought it would be, definitely no bargains. And really expensive. I think id rather go to Barnes and Noble. Also the store hours are false. Its doesn't close at 9.

On oct 18,2025, my daughter and I visited the store. Due to short staffing, there were only 2 employees. One in coffee shop and one at register. Both were extremely overworked and remained professional and helpful. They deserve recognition and reward for their service. Please treat employees with kindness respect. AND money!

I placed an order for three books online, paid for 2-3-days shipping, but only one book arrived in time. So a gift order ruined. Their text updates don't work, their service is terrible. Do not use them for online gift orders, they are not reliable.

Local book store gone junk drawer. Thank God for Barnes and Noble! BAM feels like it might and should close up shop. Feels like private equity taking it's toll.

A lot of BAM stores I’ve been in have been fairly nice, per my personal opinion. But I was less than impressed with this location.. The store just didn’t feel real CLEAN. It wasn’t the most organized in a lot of ways and didn’t have that awesome bookstore feel, I don’t even know if that makes sense but I’m not sure how else to describe it. It seemed like maybe they were just really low on stock, but BAM stores that I am familiar with are usually packed to the brim with books, magazines and random collectibles, like almost excessively, and this location was bear in comparison to most I’ve seen. Let me also mention that I am an avid reader, so going to bookstores and just walking around and basking in the glory of so many books in such close proximity is a guilty pleasure of mine. I LOVE going to bookstores, but this BAM kind of just made me feel uncomfortable and I didn’t enjoy it like I normally do. I felt like the employees were unfriendly as well and just side eyeing me the whole time, and that’s not even the biggest part that I didn’t enjoy. Something I did think was pretty neat, though, was that this location still has one of those old ladders that’s connected to the bookshelf so you can climb to the higher up books. I wish more places still had those. I just feel that this location could do better. It’s possible I came in on an off day but I’m certainly glad this isn’t my local bookstore option..

Fantastic and large selection of books at this location. The staff are warm, friendly and always ready to help. I have never had an experience here that has been less than excellent.
