I stopped into Sunrise Books today while out with my 13 month old daughter. I met Edie, the owner, and my kiddo had a great time playing and exploring the space while I looked at books. Edie is so welcoming, friendly, and kind and made me feel like instant family! We will definitely be back for story times and playgroups. The book selection is really wonderful and inclusive as well. ❤️
Today, I brought my grandson to the toddler story-time at Sunrise Books. It was a delightful outing for him. He's a bit shy and preferred to observe the other children playing, but it was a fantastic chance for him to socialize with other toddlers. The story was captivating and perfect for toddlers. We sang some songs and the kids had an opportunity to explore and play with toys. The bookstore had a wide selection of books covering various topics. We will certainly return for more visits in the future!
Best place for great children books! Small selection due to being a new, but the selection is what you need in kids books, WITH MORE TO COME! Edi was amazing and has good clean books. Books for all ages! And has creative events, and author readings. Amazing customer service! Give this amazing new book store a look, you won't be disappointed!

Family friendly black owned children’s bookstore by a Pdx native, that specializes in children’s books. Super cozy safe space for parents to entertain the littles with weekly activities and engagement. I highly recommend!
