Went for children’s books. They had some but a small selection for such a large place. Very busy very popular. Very very vast. Just not great for smaller children. My son is obsessed with libraries and books so he still had a good time!

Wonderful used book store. It's everything you want a used bookstore to be. It's crowded aisles with books stacked everywhere. There's a cat. There's treasures around every corner. Truly a gem of a store in the heart of Philly.

They have a really extensive book collection. Even though it's pretty tight and packed, the walking space was decent enough. I probably browsed for an hour. I didn't see a house cat so probably don't come if you only want to see the cat lol. I enjoyed how quiet it was. Prices were 'okay' but most decent books were priced 8-9USD. One book had the first couple pages torn, another had pen marks all over the poems, both at $8. Which isn't worth it for me. I can find cheaper options on thrift books online. Also, have back up cash on you. My discover credit card didn't work on their machine but worked in all the stores I visited in the same trip 😐 glad I had some cash!

I visited a few years ago and came back today. It was just as wonderful as I remembered! They have such a HUGE and eclectic selection of books, as well as CDs. There are to floors to explore, and the little rhyme or reason to the layout, making it a fun literary maze to get lost in. The cat is also adorable. 🙂 If you only have a few minutes, it’s worth a look. But it’s even better if you have time to meander and explore! I could’ve spent hours there. Prices are also pretty reasonable!

This second hand bookstore is jam packed! It’s amazing the ceiling doesn’t collapse under the weight of all the books?! If you love books be sure to take an hour or two out of your day to explore this amazing shop. Go upstairs and take a look out at the park view, take a deep breath and find some zen among the books. Your sure to find Mr. Pickles, the cat, sleeping on a chair or in a sunny spot.

What an amazing little bookstore. I had a couple authors in mind when I walked in and there was a phenomenal collection of books to peruse. I even found the one I had in mind! I'll take a $5 book from a local store any day. Great shop, great staff, great cat!

I absolutely loved this place! Staff is kind and helpful. They have a massive selection of books and media. Found some great obscure 1960s scifi books and 1990s scifi DVDs. Great prices too! AND THERE IS A KITTY!!!
