Vroman’s Bookstore is a wonderful place to visit and take a gander at for both the curious and avid reader. For those who haven’t been to this place in their travels, it is recommended that they do so. This establishment is undoubtedly a haven for a plethora of interests. The structure consists of two floors, which are equally large in stature, and near mountains of reading material are overwhelming. And just out front, there is a section for magazines to check out. It’s almost certain that anyone who steps in might find themselves there for quite some time before leaving. Most importantly, the staff are friendly and are willing to help if need be.

There is nothing I love more than discovering an independent bookstore while traveling. This shop has so much history and the staff are gracious and accommodating. We were here for three hours and I don't feel like I got to to see everything. They have an extensive selection in all genres but make sure you get recommendations from the staff. They are knowledgeable and just might help you find a book or gift you didn't even know you wanted.

Great bookstore! There are two levels with all of your typical book sections. There is also a wine bar inside and a coffee shop attached. There is a fun game section divided up into different ages for younger kids or family fun. There is also a great stationary area with all kinds of different calligraphy, inks and pens. Upstairs, there is an area with greeting cards as well. There are a lot of cool gifts scattered throughout the stacks of books. If you are in the area, it is definitely a fun bookshop to check out.

This is an excellent bookstore with a historical marker, time capsule inside. I like the way it flows around and upstairs it is a great place to look around and shop. There is an elevator for those who need it, or just want to avoid stairs. Stickers, hats, clothing and gift cards if you just can't find the right gift. Parking excellent. Clean bathrooms. Simple food options for snacking.

Good library right on Colorado. Reminds me a lot of a bigger Barnes & Noble. Workers weren't too friendly, but to be fair, I did come here before going to the gym, and my attire showed it, lol. There's no Spanish books section like in most Barnes & Noble (or at least I wasn't able to find it). There is also a kiosk with magazines right on the right side entrance of it.

We were just walking down the street and this bookstore caught our attention, maybe all the people milling around waiting to get in, anyway, we were curious and had time so in we went. We never even made it upstairs! I wish I lived closer. So much to see, my head was spinning.

It's easy to see why Vroman's is a Pasadena institution - they have a great selection of books and stationary. The whole place feels classy and elevated just like you would expect from a 130 year old bookstore and all of the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. They also had most of the authors I went looking for and several nice special editions. A bit expensive overall but a really lovely place to peruse and discover new stories.
