Great local Romance only bookstore! My girls love it. Lots of genres and big inventory! Big variety of book related gifts and kitschy fun items!

We traveled across the state to come to this bookstore and it DID NOT disappoint. Such a thoughtfully designed, inviting niche bookstore catering to all romance book genres. They also sell cute bookmarks, stickers, journals, etc. and the staff are so helpful if you’re looking for something specific!

Such a beautiful and welcoming bookstore! You can truly tell the owner took their time to make this place somewhere you would want to stay, relax, look through all the beautiful books and items! I truly cannot get over my experience I had! The staff is so sweet and helpful! 1000/10 wish I lived in fl because of this bookstore alone!

Local, woman owned bookstore worth supporting! I love visiting small, locally owned stores! I was visiting Orlando and this was the PERFECT store for romance and romantasy readers alike! The employee and even some of the customers were so helpful! You can tell them exactly what type of romance you like, what tropes you like or what you’re looking for and the employee was able to give me multiple recommendations, as well as the customers. The customers and employees alike are so excited about this cute little store that I could have spent hours in! The next time I’m in Orlando I will definitely be stopping in again! They have books from self-published authors which was incredible to see! If you love special editions, like I do, they do have them! They also have signed copies available, as well!

The New Romantics has been such an incredible addition to Orlando! The atmosphere is so cozy and you can tell there is SO much heart put into the store. The book selection itself is always great, and I love how intentional they are with giving a platform to local authors! This is always on my list of places to visit when I'm looking for a fun day 🙂

I’d love to leave a good review. But I’m disappointed in the customer service solutions and how my book was shipped to me. Specifically ordered from this indie bookstore for the extras that came with the book however the paperback book itself was only placed in a bubble mailer with no extra bubble wrap or cushion to protect the book. I know that some people don’t care about certain book damage but when an entire corner is dented in, the front cover was folded at one point and the bottom of the spine is damaged you’d hope for a replacement of some sort. I emailed in the minute I opened and noticed the damages and was told that they were not significant enough to warrant a replacement. I would have thought as fellow book lovers they would have been more than happy to send a replacement so I didn’t miss out on the goodies. Instead I was given the option to return the book at my own expense and get a refund losing the extras I specifically ordered this for. OR I could keep the book and get 10% back and still no replacement. Just extremely disappointed, I bet the store in person is great but with how packaging is done I’d be weary on shipping any items and I definitely will not waste the money an ordering from here even for the extras.

New Romantics Bookstore is the absolute cutest addition to Orlando! It’s a romance lover’s dream, with an amazing selection of books, plus bookish merch like stickers, candles, mugs, and Kindle accessories. One of my favorite things? You can emboss or stamp your books after buying them which is such a fun touch! The shop has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff is incredibly sweet. They instantly struck up a conversation and made the whole experience even better. If you love romance, indie bookstores, or just cute bookish spots, you have to check this place out!
