I recently attended an event that was hosted here and I absolutely enjoyed myself. The bookstore is very clean, cute and well stocked. While I didnt find the specific books I was looking for I did find a lot of possible new reads. I was also told that they're able to order some books. The people that work here were very friendly and they know their books so if you need any recommendations dont hesitate to ask. I will definitely be coming here to purchase some new reads and attend some of the book clubs. If reading is your jam definitely check this place out.

The bookstore is very spacious and carry a wide variety of genre. It is very inviting and everything is so tidy and well organized. They hosted book related event monthly so be sure to check their events board if you’re interested. They also have a connected coffee shop right next door!

A fun open layout! They're connected to a cafe which I like but didn't get anything. I liked the vintage fridge 4 stars because the Blind Date with a book options were ARCs which are not legally allowed to be sold. Kid friendly and big selection

What an incredible place. Wow. When we walked in, we thought "we’ll just take a look around and go on with our day." We ended up sitting there for 2 hours. The girl who owns/runs the place was so friendly and helpful, and offered so many suggestions of places to go and see in Oklahoma City! The atmosphere was so cute and aesthetic. There was so much room to sit and meet with people and talk. It was such a sweet space that really fostered good community. The books were so diverse and beautifully organized. I found a book by my most favorite poet there. I am so thankful. If you’re in the area, stop in. Stay a while. Buy some books!! Get some cards, notebooks, pottery. It’s so worth your time!!

I ordered three candles from their website, and one arrived broken due to poor packaging. I emailed the manager, Sarah, with photos of the damaged candle and asked for a replacement or refund. After a week with no response, I called the store and asked for a manager to follow up. Sarah finally replied the next day, saying she had been out of town—and mentioned that the associate told her I was "upset." Very unprofessional. Yes, I was disappointed, but mostly that she didn’t have an out-of-office reply set up or any system to manage customer inquiries in her absence. It’s also basic customer service not to label customers’ emotions. They did eventually send a replacement candle, but the overall experience was terrible. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from this store again.

Cute! Love the layout and how inviting it is! Plenty to peruse and plenty of places to sit and linger. Definitely want to come back for a date at the adjoining eatery! Parking is easy across the the street and there’s a cute outside sitting area as well as seen in pic shared.

One of the coolest—if not—the only book store that carry the current, contemporary book listing. There’s art book, coffee table book, wanderlust photo book, graphic novels, books about tea, A24 newsletter, books about Bauhaus models, etc etc. If you’re into trendy, artsy, contemporary pieces, then this bookstore is for you. The space is super comfy, with huge mid-century sofas to read and ponder to at the center. I think they also have a cafe next door. What a homey space! Treat yourself a comfortable evening and drop by Commonplace bookstore when you’re around Midtown, OK. There are lots to look around and maybe carry home with you!
