A Novel Idea Book Parlor

Very open and spacious. Lay out with clear signage for all the different categories in sections as well as the occasional book laid. Cover side out to more quickly visually spot where you are in the bookshelves staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be going back here every once in a while to check for new stock. Found two books I was looking for. That's a good day

If you like bookstores, this one is worth visiting in person inside the Newgate Mall or on Facebook. The physical store is near the theater at the south end of the mall. It is nicely arranged, an inviting store, with most in-great-condition books $2-$6. It's a small thing, but I found their forward-facing placement of books on the bottom shelves attractive and functional. Their Facebook page featuring new arrivals is very useful. They will even hold books with a stated day and time the hold ends. A Novel Idea is a welcome addition to the mall and open seven days a week.

Friendly staff, they have small carts, and is a great play to buy DVDs. The Newgate Mall in general is a nice location to visit.

Excellent neighborhood shop, I love to shop local whenever I can. They have a huge variety of books, ranging from $1-$10. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the staff is great!

Amazing store! Me and my girlfriend ended up purchasing 2 books from here. Bobby did an amazing job helping us out and when I asked questions about the books, he was very kind and resourceful and made the place feel very welcoming to us. Ultimately that’s what made us feel comfortable to buy the books when we approached him and asked for help, made us wanna purchase from here. Ask for Bobby next time you’re here! They have a great selection of slightly used books at great affordable prices! They even have blind books (books that are wrapped so you buy them with a few key points and don't "judge a book by its cover) Their staff is also super friendly.

I have shopped here a few times and the staff are kind. When I can to donate some books it was 1040 and online says they open at 10. I waited a bit to see if maybe they were just running behind but they never opened. I came on a Tuesday.
