Walmart

I don't know what is happening with the walmarts that do not accept payment with digital wallet. The service is awful, the server talk to me badly like she hates her job, and the roof is very low. The worst walmart that I have been see in Connecticut. Why do walmarts only accept payment throughout its application? Do you want to measure and follow at each user's items or what?

I needed something quickly so ran in here midday during the week. Store was pretty packed (plenty of parking, may just have to be on other end of the lot) but aisles were clean and organized. Employees were working very hard despite the rush! As usual Walmart prices are pretty hard to beat and they had a good assortment of items. Slight wait at checkout but normal given the customer volume. I am pleased with my experience.

On two separate visits, the pick up service has been terrible. It is an inconvenience and not executed well at all. Why even have it? No one came to curbside for more than 40 minutes. When we went in to pick up, they wouldn't hand it to us and asked to wait in the car. The whole purpose of pick up is convenience. Today, we ended up cancelling the order because it is an absolute disaster. My husband said the phone number doesn't even work.. did someone leave the phone off the hook or perhaps staffing issues need to be addressed. Please look into management and address these issues. There's only one Walmart in Norwalk now and hopefully there will be positive change in the near future.

I was hoping to go to a superstore but was disappointed when I went into the Norwalk store. It is NOT a superstore. No produce, bakery or meat depts. The grocery items were not cohesively arranged. One item here and a similar item 2 aisles away. It makes it difficult to shop.

#1 Nobody ever picks up the phone if you are lucky enough to get a parking spot in the pick up spots. So then you go inside and everyone thinks you are cheating by parking in a spot you shouldn't be. #2 When ordering online, make sure items not included are not charged to your account. I did not receive 2 items totaling about $45 and the girl told me they would be added on to part of the order that would be delivered, that also never showed. When they have to pick up items at other stores, those are delivered to your house. Well, we discussed the 2 items, and now I am being charged $45 and told they were picked up. Since it is impossible to get anyone on the phone, I have a choice, since it is 12/14/25, I can try to get a parking spot at Walmart and wait on the Customer Service line which has 2 not nice people working the registers, or wait in the crowded room for pick-up (since nobody picks up the phone). So, now I have already spent 30 minutes on the phone and these 2 items, which I need and cost $45 that I don't want to pay for if I don't get them, are outstanding still and I cannot reach a human being. Nice, huh?

Has to be one of the worst Walmarts in the region or country. Parking lot is a mess with potholes, not well lined, some rows are 2 ways other 1 way. Mobile pickup parking only not enforced, trash everywhere in parking lot, abandoned adjacent storefronts - and that’s just the outside! Inside, they have a poor selection of grocery items with no fresh produce. Employees or 3rd parties stocking shelves are not deferential to working around customers. Many times a long self-checkout line or not enough staffed lines. Unclear what receipt checker at exit does - sometimes checks, sometimes doesn’t - you can also select digital receipt when checking out, which means you wouldn’t even have a printed copy to show. Customer service desk line is a nightmare. Suggest reimagining this location, cleaning inside and out, and expanding into adjacent storefronts.

Not the nicest Walmart at all...in fact this particular one gives Walmart a bad name!!! The employees aren't friendly or helpful at all!!! The only savings grace was the nicest, sweetest security guard checking receipts at the exit. His name was Galo, friendly, kind, talking and wishing you a great day on the way out. Thank God for him. I'll never travel from NY to that one ever again.
