The guides on the shop seemed knowledgeable. There’s a lot of floors to wander around and see how the sailorslived and worked. It’s in pretty good condition considering the age. Plan for a lot of time if you are a completist type that wants to see every corner. Important! Watch where you are walking, there’s a lot of trip hazards and open hatches to steep stairs but that’s necessary for historical accuracy. I’d probably recommend a tour guide if you don’t have an industrial or military background.

We visited the USS Wisconsin today—our first time there—and it was fantastic! There was so much to explore aboard the ship, and it was fascinating to see how the sailors lived and worked. It’s a great place for kids to learn about and experience an important part of our history.

This was a very nice museum. The battleship is huge and is really a self-contained city. They have done an excellent job of capturing the history and the voice of the battleship. We particularly loved the video montage throughout the tour of previous service members telling their stories. Appointed docents were helpful at guiding us as well. It was very rainy today so we didnt get to tour above decks but its a good reason to return. Would love to see their big holiday winterfest light display.

Wisconsin did not disappoint. The gubment shut down had the nsval museum shuttered but the ship was well worth the $20 if that was the only thing you hot to see. Very informative when we tagged along with a tour guide. I could have spent hours in there.

Great experience seeing rhe ship. It would have been better if Christmas lights weren't everywhere. Made it hard to see some things and move around

Great tour. Definitely take a guided tour and learn about the behind the scenes or areas that are not open to the public. Very worth your while and expense, which is nominal.
