Love this place. Taylor Street Art & Books feels like a true neighborhood spot—thoughtfully curated books and art, friendly people, and a vibe that makes you want to hang out and browse forever. Nashville needs more places like this.

The cutest little boutique book and art shop. Perfect for finding that little something to cultivate your shelf. From hand bound journals made by local artisans to diorama, you'll find a gift or souvenir to treasure. The owners know local Nashville lore and are an abundance of help finding just the right spot to make your trip an amazing experience. It's located in a cool old warehouse with lots of other neat shops, too.

My daughter and I visited this bookstore during their soft opening days. What a wonderfully quaint and darling spot! The shop covers all genres of reading material AND offers gluten-free goodies from a REAL celiac disease baker! Oh. My. Goodness♥️ From great reading material to divine goodies go to Taylor Street Arts and Books (I own some art, too) !!!

TSA&B is not your typical bookstore. And that’s a wonderful thing. Any metaphor I choose to describe it is going to fail because it’s that unusual. Is there such a thing as an artisan bookstore? I don’t mean bougie or hipster at all—I mean a carefully chosen selection of interesting and timely books. The owners have rightly chosen quality over quantity. But it’s more than just a boutique bookstore. You’re surrounded by beautiful artwork, and you can tell from the moment you walk in that it is a creative safe space that will stimulate your mind and soul. Do yourself a favor and check it out. The people are as wonderful as the space they have created.

A wonderfully small bookstore that has an excellent selection of local authors, travel books, popular fiction, graphic novels, history books, art prints from local artists, and more. And there's usually some great gluten free baked goods! What more could a book lover possibly need?

A wonderful micro bookstore tucked away in the Taylor 100 Art Collective in Germantown. The best way to describe the bookstore is, "tiny but mighty" and indeed you’ll find the next book you want to read. Curated travel, general nonfiction, and Nashville specific publications along with local art, notebooks, and other cool gifts. Stop in and see what all the hype is about. You’ll not be disappointed.

The age of digital commerce has, with all its modern conveniences, stripped something away from the magic of shopping for books: the element of surprise. Amazon knows you better than you do, and does everything in their omniscient, algorithmic power to spit out thousands of creepily tailored selections for your every unknown whim. Taylor Street Art and Books is the ultimate subversion of these practices. Rather than faced with a flat screen and choice paralysis, TSAB features a curated and rotating selection of great books chosen by real human people. Real human people that you can talk to about what to choose! What a concept these days! I'm constantly amazed at how much variety can fit in such a small space.
