Crying Cat Books and Records

If I could give more stars I would, but where to begin. This is the happiest place on earth. It’s warm, like your weird hippy aunts hugs. The people, customers and staff, are all the most fantastic people. The books are lovely, organized and curated, the records are thoughtful, the art is a joy. Go, get a book, support a community, Amazon is just going to replace us with robots either way.

This place is an absolute vibe. Prices are great. The selection is great. The staff is wonderful. Cannot recommend this business enough!!!!

An absolutely wonderful place to find your next mental adventure, your new favorite song, and your new favorite place to go in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It’s tucked away but most wonderful spots are. The best place in the ‘boro to find a book, a record, and local arts and crafts.

I enjoyed my time exploring this bookstore which includes a nice mixture of used and new books. A book club was wrapping up their meeting so it had a nice energy in the store. Overall, has an eclectic feeling as it’s a converted house full of books and records.

I recently visited this book store. The people who work there are kind and friendly. The other visitors were kind too. This is a cute and comfy place! I did not have much time to check every section. I hope to return some time again. This is the best used book store in this downtown area of Murfreesboro.

My FAVORITE store in the boro , the perfect place to go after a hard day that makes u want retail therapy, I go too often and have been for years, the owner is the sweetest and Im pretty sure its Fitz ( I could be wrong) the worker who is always there! They will order a book for you if they don’t have it. They do so much for our community and they have the coolest listening parties ! AND local artists artwork for sale ! GO SUPPORT LOCALLY OWNED BOOK STORES NOT CORPORATIONS AND AMAZON!

Quaint little place in the middle of the neighborhood. Really interesting, feels like you're going to your neighbor's house once you walk in you're greeted with walls of books, turn the corner and you'll find media, cds, dvds and such. Turn another corner ans greeted with vinyl. Definitely an interesting place to check out.
