Thirst Books

Thirst is my favorite Milwaukee Romance Bookstore! Since visiting the first time this Fall, I've been back multiple times and brought new friends every time. The owner is so friendly, has great recommendations, and is so clearly passionate about what she does. The shop is super cute, well organized, and has an awesome selection. This is officially my go to romance bookstore. 12/10 would recommend for an inclusive, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable experience.

The cutest book store I’ve ever been to and the owner is so nice! I could spend hours here, the selection of books is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, there are so many books you don’t typically ever see sold in stores and a huge variety.

I can not express how impressed I am with Thirst, Milwaukee's Romance Bookstore. The store is always impressive, both with it's atmosphere and it's book selection. Kerrie, the owner, is the sweetest and so knowledgeable about every romance genre. They also host some great events and have different book clubs that anyone can join.

Warm, welcoming, and well-stocked! Such a cute, spicy bookstore, with a great variety of sub-genres and friendly , helpful staff. We’re having a family gathering in town, and my sisters raved about Thirst so much I went the next day. Not just fun books, but nice extras too (totes, shirts, bookmarks, stickers). Can’t wait to come back to MKE and visit again!

Thirst's Smut Sommelier was passionate, witty and ready to engage in smirk worthy banter. If you like your romances steamy, well-organized and leaving you wanting more - this is the perfect place to fall in love, with books. It will rekindle your desire to stay up past your bedtime with pages spread. This store delivers page clenching, toe curling satisfaction from the second you walk in. Woman owned, romance-focused and absolutely hitting all my... literary buttons. My friend and I had such a good time that we came twice in as many days. Individually currated recommendations are spot on! Shelves containing books for every romance genre - will only leave you desiring more time to spend between the pages. If you prefer voyeurism stop by to have a peak at Thirst's chapters, thoughtful displays and bookish merch while enjoying mood music. These little touches make a pleasurable experience that will be hard to forget. They even host great events, clubs and author signings if you're into group things... I went in torn between two books and ultimately picked eight. While checking out the bookseller saw my choice and rewarded me with a perfectly timed 'Good girl.' Not to be dramatic, but I folded faster than a romance hero in chapter fifteen. Cannot wait to get tied up while reading my new books!

Absolutely adorable! And they have so many good books and different cover editions! I wish it wouldn't be the first and probably last time I can make it to Thirst Books (I'm just visiting Milwaukee). If you love Romance books you should definitely check this store out! We need more of them in this world

Love the place! Lots of variety and fun merch for romance girlies. It’s a great addition to North Ave. The owner has done really creative things inside like hanging light fixtures made of books and putting a reading lounge downstairs. It’s stocked from floor to ceiling with a ton of different varieties of romance.
