They also host $1 Book Sales, which are part book hunt, part community gathering, and part "how-did-I-end-up-buying-15-books?" moment. Bonus points: they’ve blended books with herbal goodies and tea options, which makes the vibe even cozier—book in one hand, tea in the other, soul in heaven. The staff? Lovely. I’d definitely suggest improving the signage to the entrance—let’s just say you might feel a little lost before you find yourself (and the books). A simple sign by the sidewalk could do the trick. And here’s the real plot twist: they have a book exchange program 😎Bring a few books, leave with new ones—your wallet barely notices, but your bookshelf definitely will. Highly recommend this gem. My first time coming to this store and I loved it, it’s so hard to find historical fiction books which is my preferred genre and here i left with 4 of them. The woman in the front possibly the owner was very welcoming and helpful, so kind. I will definitely be back.

Edited: I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance but the owners kindly explained where the entrance was located (see reply from owner). I appreciate their fast response and can't wait to visit now that I know 😀 Update: after visiting I was so delighted to explore their vinyl and books section! I was surprised to see the books organized by genre AND authors' last name! It's definitely an act of love for the bookkeeper to maintain such an exquisite and organized bookstore with a great selection! General biking access: There's no apparent bike parking in the small plaza and biking infrastructure is non-existent. While the use of sidewalks is needed to arrive here, SW 136 ST has a wide, and relatively smooth, sidewalk on the east-bound lane only.

This a great store! You could find some hard to find books. There is some thing for everybody. I love it that they have things for kids as well. Support your local bookstores!

I've only been here twice but already my boyfriend and I are planning our next trip! I'm even convincing some of my friends to bring in books to widen their selection which is already quite large and changing week to week. The owners and volunteers are super kind and helpful. One of the sweetest volunteers (who used to be a librarian) even let me have a look at the books that just came in that they were pricing (very affordably I might add). I am so glad to have found this gem filled with great books, a wide variety of teas and herbs, and friendly staff. I'm looking forward to visiting again this week, next week, and many times in the future!
