The Bookery is truly the perfect place to launch my first children’s book. From the moment I walked in with "Undiscovered Treasures of the Fireflies", the space felt warm, welcoming, and full of heart—exactly the kind of magic you hope surrounds a story about wonder, nature, and imagination. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive, the atmosphere was cozy and inspiring, and the community turnout made the day feel unforgettable. If you’re an author, illustrator, or book lover looking for a place that genuinely celebrates stories and creativity, The Bookery is something truly special.

Was in town for a few days and came across The Bookery. Very cute. Great employees, very helpful and easy to talk to. They have a coffee shop in the back, even though it's not affiliated with The Bookery it was also great. I was able to get some coffee and look around at the books and unique gifts some of them from the local artists. I bought a few stickers. One of the most unique things I saw and creative was their. Don't judge a book by its cover table where you can choose a book with clues to what the book might be if you're willing to take a risk and love reading. So go check them out. You won't be disappointed. Bonus: they're a small business I love supporting local. If I'm ever in that area again, I'm definitely stopping by for a visit.

the cafe barista was super friendly and nice but the bookstore staff didn’t seem so friendly. felt like he was giving me a judgemental look everytime we made eye contact and didn’t care to smile back. he also put a speaker right next to me and started playing songs so loud when i was reading. and ironically a label on that table said be careful about putting your phone on speaker for the people reading next to you.

Upon entering the Bookery and reaching Proba Cafe, I was immediately greeted with a warm and friendly smile by the barista, who took the time to address all my inquiries with ease and professionalism. The establishment boasts an impressive selection of organic beverages, including hot and cold coffees, teas, matcha, golden milk, and hot chocolate. During this visit, I opted for a hot coffee latte, which showcased exceptional flavor and impressive foam artwork. The accompanying cranberry scone was delightfully buttery and soft in texture, making for a perfect start to my day. Notably, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the cafe's status as a small, local business. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, conducive to relaxation and socialization. Before I knew it, hours had passed as I browsed books in the Bookery and caught up with friends and family. Once again, the staff and owner demonstrated their warm hospitality and genuine passion for their work. I will undoubtedly return to this establishment every time I am in town. Thank you!

Such a little treat in Manch! Right next to Cat Alley. They have magnets, postcards, coffee mugs, stickers, greeting cards, gifts, jewelry, and obviously books haha! There is a little cafe in the back, a children's area, and they use the front as an event/meeting area sometimes. They also do book club! Staff has always been super sweet when I've gone in.

An absolute treasure of a bookstore!! The cafe has delicious coffees, teas and snacks. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I love the inventory of local made and inclusive items to shop. Every time my husband and I travel to the area to visit friends and family we make it a point to stop in and grab a coffee and some books.

What a cute shop! I loved the mystery book section (staff covered the books with a small synopsis on the cover). Bummed that the coffee shop had moved out, but the selection was great and loved all the local knick knacks and stickers that were displayed.
