I took my teen boys a little over an hour away to show them the type of bookstores we used to have. They couldn't believe it and loved the place. Their minds were blown when I told them there used to be B&N stores that were three stories tall and fancy. So glad some stores still exist.

They are one of the only walk-in bookstores for new releases. They have a big children's selection of books and games. I didn't know it but they have DVDs and music CDs. They also have 12" vinyl albums. There's a coffee bar too. Very nice fit this area. It's nice to just walk into a store in buy something rather than ordering online and stirring up the delivery bees. They have many discounted items and a good gift section. This may be one of your last chances to not go to a big box department store or order it online. They can also order items they don't have. And it can be delivered or you can go back in and pick it up for no charge.

Barnes & Noble was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and always willing to help, which made my visit so enjoyable. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to browse. They have an incredible selection of books and other items—there’s truly something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back!

For Christmas presents, Barnes & Noble is a great one-stop-shop. Games, toys, puzzles, plushies, bookmarks, crafts and, of course books of all types make this store a great destination. Some of the older members of our family don't actually need anything. Their motto is, "If we can't eat it or read it, we dont need it!" So, a Barnes & Noble gift card is always a winner in their households. The staff at the Lynchburg store is super helpful and nice. I always enjoy our time there! The store is beautifully clean, very organized, and well stocked. The cafe is great for getting a coffee or tea to enjoy while sitting in one of the easy chairs there. There is a dedicated childrens' section filled with books and games for young ones.

Excellent store! Very welcoming, staff is nice, and I always feel comfortable here. I will say the bathrooms could need some updating and I would appreciate more places to sit to read besides the cafe. But overall great selection and awesome staff!

Very friendly staff that are always helpful. Very clean and organized store. Lots of media(including movies, records and music), toys, graphic novels and magazines in addition to books. Very cozy and large children's area. A frequent visit for our family. Highly recommend.

The store is clean, organized, bright and well staffed. We came to get a puppet for my grandson, and were not disappointed. We came away with a beautiful, silky furred, reclining void cat, and many ideas for future gifts!
